How would you rank the original MTV vj's in terms of importance, their effectiveness of their jobs, on screen presence, really just who do you think did the best job.
For me, it is hard and unfair because some VJ I have seen more of footage of them in action than others. For example I have seen more Mark Goodman than JJ Jackson. So I wouldn't know more of what he bought to the table.
1) Mark Goodman - they choose him to go first for a reason. And he is effective of being the straight man to the music.
2) Martha Quinn - she was a lovely young lady, that I thought she had a charm to her. And even though she is not a professional companion, I found her funny.
3) Alan Hunter - the blond Mark Goodman. I think he is the funniest of all 5. I don't think I ever seen a full Alan Hunter shift, but he was good in the first VMAs, and he is great on the Sirux XM 80's station.
4) Nina Blackwood - I have seen some of her work. Her hair was very 80's. Though her whole voice can be distracting.
5) JJ Jackson - I am sure he did a great job, I just barely come accross much of JJ Jackson vj shits. So I can't fully judge his work.
