We all know that the Blood Runs Cold angle in WCW seemed highly influenced by Mortal Kombat, but were there ever any wrestlers whose gimmicks either resembled or were outright based off of Street Fighter characters?

LU had a ton of Mortal Kombat inspiration but I am trying to think of a SF inspired one.
In a small way I guess Black Lotus could be seen as being inspired by Chun-Li atleast during her initial appearances.

I think Kama borrowed heavily from Balrog (boxer).

I think Kama borrowed heavily from Balrog (boxer). I'm pretty sure Kama was mostly based off Balrog. Similar outfit, similar haircut, both from Las Vegas. Too many similarities for it to be coincidental.

Not Street Fighter but there was a legit Wolf Hawkfield from Vitrua Fighter in AJPW that was a cross promotion with Sega. youtu.be/cOViTgtyk2Y

Charles Wright/Kama was born in Las Vegas and has pretty much been a lifelong resident. I knew he shoot lived in Vegas as I guess he ran a strip club theres but didn't know he was born there and always lived there. I always thought he was a California kid I guess because his nickname with the boys was "Bear" which made think he played football at California as their team name was the Golden Bears. However looking at wiki it says he went to University of Nevada where he was the offensive tackle.
