We got a huge family of geese that live on the lake. Most days now I see them wandering around a neighbor's yard. When it rains they love to come splash in the puddles where teh paved road ends and our property starts. Back during the pandemic I would go sit on the pier for hours at a time to just relax. The geese learned if I was out I had snacks and if they swam near the pier i would toss them something. Today was the first day in 15 days that I could walk and sit without backpain. Looks like whatever I did is healed up almost fully now. That reminds me of the year I managed to get a cracking picture of the Geese as they flew over for their annual migration. We got a family that lives on the lake then others that stop by heading south. The lake is huge and being one of the places on it with a boat launch means the geese will come up on the land using hte boat launch then wander into the neighbor's yard. I think they are sleeping under his home when it cold or nasty out. I will go search in a bit but a got a few vids of the geese. Also got a heron that likes to come sit on a stump out near the end of the long pier. Near that stump is a fish feeder on a timer. Every night at 10pm it drops food into the lake. To help keep fish near the pier. The heron has learned this and around 10pm will leave the stump come to the pier and sit there waiting on the fish to come up get the feed.

Sure from my living room my window looks out on the lake and we have squirrels and chipmunks that come up on hte backporch to eat at the seed we leave out of them and the birds. Got a family of rabbits that lives in the woods on the front part, will see them early in the morning out by the minnow pond. Or sometimes late at night in the garden when we got something growing. The bad is lots of hunters in the area. I have no issue if you hunt for food. Get why some might. Had times I would be out on the pier enjoying the quiet. Geese all by the pier. Then you hear gunshots cause it is deer season and someone done saw a big buck. Oh and if you are driving at night you get use to being able to avoid deer running across major highways. It was not even 9pm.That is Highway 84. Which is two lanes going West and two going east with a medium between them. I had my camera going cause I was recording some audio for another project. Which is why there is music laid over this footage. But well as you saw just barely missed that deer.

I'm lucky here in Liverpool in regards to the Hunting aspect since there's nowhere really to go hunting in Liverpool (at least not legally to the best of my knowledge) At the very least, it doesn't sound boring for wildlife where you live and that deer was a lucky deer. As far the thread is concerned though lol. I found out this morning that I'm going to be a Great-Uncle again as my nephew and his girlfriend are due to become parents again in November. I'm only 40 and I'll (fingers crossed) be a Great-Uncle to two kids LMAO.

I think I have at long last got out of my writer's block and have finished up my next gaming review and have got a head start on the next one. I want to get back into a rhythm and do a review at least every 2 weeks.

Getting to play with my grandmother's neighbor's dog. Mom ignored it and Grandma doesn't like dogs so it kept coming to me for pets. :3

In my Special Olympics swim meet, I managed to do pretty well in the 50, 100 & 4X50 Relay.
And I finally started watching more anime (mainly to update my MAL list)

After months of delays, my copy of Halloween Illustrated finally arrived. This is a reprint of the original novelization of the 1978 film with new illustrations, released with the blessing of the book’s author and the company that holds the rights to the Halloween franchise. The cover here—a re-creation of the original—was only available during last year’s Halloween 45 convention in Pasadena and through the publisher’s website for a limited time. The wide-release version features original artwork for the cover.

So... I don't listen to much Taylor Swift, but my niece wants a lot of her stuff, for her birthday. She'll be quite happy 🙂

I asked Alexa to turn off the lamp and Alexa went
“*FART NOISE*
Sorry about that”
Somehow it activated a fart noise skill?!

Found an extension on FireFox that fixes a ton of the sites that have a white background into a black background without just inverting the colors on everything. So much easier on my eyes.

After days of not sleeping well I just had a perfect little moment of peace. I work from home today and decided to lay in bed for a while after lunch, but a 5 minute rest turned into a 2 hour long nap, as my puppers decided to surround me and nap as well. Woke up worried as hell only to find out nothing bad at all happened and the only thing I missed was an email thanking me for something I did earlier.
