And for that matter, a lot of us still call Impact "TNA"

The LOD name made me think Luger was going to join them as a stable at some point. (Get it? *nudge nudge*) Who else would fit in? "The bizarre" Goldust Bobby "The Brain(iac)" Heenan Sinister Minister There WAS a Solomon Grundy wrestler, he was a hillbilly type though... El Gigante Had she not been a wash for WWE (and I hear not that good a performer) and years earlier, Isis the Amazon/Aloisa.

It's Christian... Cage! Christian Cage, Christian Cage! TNA, TNA, TNA! Mike Kanellis is forever. Seriously. Has there been any fresh news yet if Rusev has to get himself a new name? ' haven't seen anyone talk about him in this board... that's gotta be the hardest one yet, if it has to happen. It's so weird I got past the fact Bryan Danielson is Daniel Bryan. After WM XXX, never questioned it again though. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Also, I want to remembrance "Matt Bentley" as Michael Shane - I thought he had so much potential when watching him in early ROH shows.

Road Warriors was probably the big one for me. Never a fan of the 'Legion of Doom' name.

Sometimes when I'm talking about wrestling with my roommate, I just say WWF. I know it hasn't been WWF since I was a kid, but WWE just does not roll off the tongue and I feel awkward saying it.
And whenever I talk about the time period where it was WWF, I absolutely call it that.
I'm also guilty of calling Impact "TNA" occasionally, but that's more just habit.
I feel like I'm going to have a hard time not calling Karrion Kross "Killer Kross."

It is weird. Some names, it takes me forever, but Jon Moxley was so immediate that I had to google it the other day when taking a Sporcle quiz because I could not recall "Dean Ambrose", moreso the Dean portion.

Even when he was the on-screen authority figure, John Laurinaitis was and will always be Johnny Ace to me

It’s hard for me not to call Diesel “Nash” , mostly because that period was when he was his most entertaining IMO (aside from the great matches he had with Bret).
I always call Paul Levesque “Trips” or “Hunter” regardless of his era or role.

I call her Muffy the Personal Trainer, rather than her more current name with most fans, "what the hell are you talking about?"

Ed Leslie will always be Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake to me. Mainly because it was the most successful part of his career, all of his 92 failed gimmicks in WCW never came close.
