I admit, even though I watch AEW, I always find myself calling Moxley "Ambrose". Most of the time it's just a slip of the tongue.
Oddly enough, I will call Neville "PAC" and Tye Dillinger "Shawn Spears" without any issues.
How many other wrestlers name changes have you found it hard to adjust to?

Apart from guys who have to use half their old ring names for legal reasons?
Team 3D were always the Dudleys to me. Even now, I still usually refer to Bully Ray as Bubba Ray. I still refer to Daniel Bryan as Bryan Danielson. Also, I don't care how many names Vincent/Shane/Curly Bill/Soul Train Jones uses, he'll always be Virgil to me.

I still call Isaiah Scott "Swerve" most of the time.
Accidentally called Karrion Kross "Killer" recently, then had to edit my post.
Going to be tough to call El Fantasma's unmasked character "Santos Escobar" without thinking of Eric every time now.

I really hate the name "Big Show" and have only started using it in the last five years or so, sticking to Paul Wight mostly before that. Still hate it, but whatever.

I'm a huge Dudley's fan so they have been and always will be Bubba Ray and Devon DUDLEY. I remember when they debuted in TNA and Tenay and West were referring to them as Brother Ray and Brother Devon, Team 3D!!! It was soooooo cringeworthy. I kept thinking to myself PLEASE DON'T LET THESE BE THEIR NEW NAMES! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ They were. And I have never once referred to them as anything but Bubba and Devon the Dudley Boyz. Bully Ray is also an incredibly stupid name for a guy who's real name is Mark.
I will never refer to Donovan Dijak and Killer Kross as anything other than those names. I'm a fan of both guys but their new names suck donkey nuts and I will never use them. Vince has a hard-on for guys with one name. I think DIJAK is the perfect one name for a wrestler. Much better than just calling a guy Neville.
The man they call Vader. It was long and stupid and he was always just Vader or Big Van Vader. As a kid I loved Vader in WCW and seeing WWF go out of their way to ruin him was infuriating.

I always called them the Road Warriors, never the Legion of Doom. The LOD name made me think Luger was going to join them as a stable at some point. (Get it? *nudge nudge*)

I started watching around 1996, so even when I watch old stuff, I always think of Diesel and Razor Ramon as Hall and Nash.

The big one....
WWF not WWE. (I am used to the latter, but I'd be stunned if there weren't people who felt otherwise)

"The bizarre" Goldust Bobby "The Brain(iac)" Heenan Sinister Minister There WAS a Solomon Grundy wrestler, he was a hillbilly type though... El Gigante
