I hope this is allowed to be talked about here because I really want to have a discussion about the effects of branding and buying low/selling high. So I've been doing a bit of research on certain businesses and how they operate. In particular, I've come across a watch company that is selling watches for over $100 and making hundreds of thousands doing so. Here's the, I guess, you could say "immoral" part... they get all of their stock off the Chinese wholesalers for like $3 a watch, slap their own logo on it and then resell it for literally a hundred bucks plus. I've seen these watches for sale without the logo. My question is this: Is everything we buy such as Nike sneakers, watches, football jerseys, fragrances etc. Is all of this imported from these Chinese wholesalers and then rebranded to the consumers to create an "expensive" feel (ie: Logos, packaging, etc) to make you think what you're getting is legit? And is every business immoral in the sense that pretty much everything has been bought at a lower price and then sold for profit? For example, is the name of the game in a sense, to rip people off? What are your thoughts on this? Delete if not allowed.

No, it's not made there, then brought here and rebranded. It's branded while still there. Reebok doesn't buy a bunch of plain shoes and slap a logo on the side.
There is a very large Chinese bootleg market that uses the same factories and workers making the authorized versions to make nonbranded versions as well, and then selling those on the cheap.
And that's about where this should probably stop.
