If people didn't talk about it, those accusations would go away. We all know it's practically impossible for rape victims to get justice in the court of law. WWE's 'investigations' into allegations seems to be asking them if they did it and if they say no, they just take them off tv for a few weeks until shit blows over.

Talking about it, demanding answers and holding the people responsible is a very small step to keeping these allegations in the public eye. Abusers get away with it when people are silent and sure as shit, I'm not going to be quiet on social media about a billion dollar business protecting people credibly accused to rape and abuse.

1. He was NOT cleared. There wasn't enough evidence to go trial. Vastly different.

2. It didn't ruin his career. His own bad attitude and not opting to give WWE a proper heads-up about the investigation did that. Notice that Riddle did let them know about this in advance and as such they've been completely ignoring it.

In general it is absolutely disgusting how pretty much every other crime people are inclined to at least hear accusers out, but any time anything sexual happens there's always a select group of people going, "Unless you have it on tape happening in front of 500 people then it's definitely fake, and even then it's still probably fake."
