Candy could be lying. But these kinds of comments are on every one of these women’s posts. That’s why they don’t come forward. You’ve got dipshit internet dorks and police who either don’t care OR they can’t prove anything because how are you supposed to? Even bruises aren’t enough usually. Reminds me of this exchange: Sexual assault is difficult to get a conviction for even with evidence, and more often than not the first inclination from outsiders is to cast doubt on the accusation. Absolutely, just like if any of these stories are proven to be false, that'll make it that much harder. It's that horrible cycle, the vast majority of women who tell these stories aren't lying yet the few that are cast doubt on everyone and it just continues.

New Day, Keith Lee, Sheamus, Miz, Roman, KO, Sami, a reformed Seth, and to the shock of some, Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar is an outspoken homophobe, so f*** him. Weird for Brock to be that way when he has had some weirdly homoerotic moments in his time, like that time he told Jericho to kiss him...

For what it's worth, Riddle's wife responded to someone and backed up the claim that she (the accuser) been 'stalking' Matt for a while and caused him to change his number multiple times.
Sad fact is, there's no good ending to this. Either Riddle is revealed to be a piece of shit or the accuser is revealed to be someone who is deeply troubled and needs help.

IIRC, enzo was released in part because he failed to inform WWE of an ongoing investigation. That probably wasn't the only reason but it was the final one. That’s exactly why Enzo was released, they were originally just going to suspend him pending investigation but then they found out he knew this accusation and investigation were coming for awhile and didn’t give them the heads up That and Enzo was told to lay low and he refused

I don't think there is any way of really knowing because the odds of this ever going past he said/she said aren't great.

Brock Lesnar is an outspoken homophobe, so f*** him. "Somebody say somethin' 'bout a homophobe!?" Since someone came to defend Lesnar, I'll throw this out there. A.J. has never once said that he has an issue with gay people. He used a slur as an insult, which was a commonly used insult at the time, almost to the point of losing it's original meaning. As for "THE GAY COMMUNITY?!", if you actually listen back to the interview, he is clearly just surprised by the question, and by finding out he is loved in the gay community. He never even got to respond to the actual question. Neither of those things indicate a dislike of gay people. The slur is one that a LOT of us used, never meaning it as an insult toward gay people, and that all of us have moved on from using. Brock Lesnar just straight up said "I don't like gays. Write that down in your little notebook. I don't like gays." Some things change, but attitudes like Lesnar's are generally not among them.

So she has been accused of stalking by Matt's wife, and needed to change his number multiple times. Also, none of the other 3 people in the car noticed this? Not even the awake driver? I mean, I am not going to call her a liar, and assuming everything is true from Matt's side, the world's worst lawyer would be able to tear it apart, especially, if Matt can prove the stalking thing and the number changing thing. I’m just keeping an open mind and reading stuff. I will never victim shame, however if it does come out that this is untrue, I would hope some kind of consequence would fall on the accuser. If it is true, I also hope the accused gets what’s coming to him (or her in some of these cases).

That's a bit misleading, since the article says between 2 and 10% of accusations are proven false (incidentally, that's quite a wide margin of error and 10% would be a very large number). In the UK only around 3% of rape accusations are proven to be true ie. resulting in a conviction. I don't know what that stat is in the US, but it'll still be low enough to provide a massive void whereby most accusations are never proven one way or another. Given that this case is as much about consent as it is about whether the basic facts occured, the chances of us ever knowing for sure are close to zero. If she can prove they were in a van together, that doesn't mean he raped her. And if he can prove she's been stalking him, it doesn't preclude the fact that she might be doing it because he raped her. So who knows, what a shitty situation.

Okay so basically AJ isn't a homophobe but Brock is because you like the former and dislike the latter.

I'm just telling you guys, were fans of a business that has scummy beginnings, middle and end......so why are we surprised by any of this? That's like saying we should inject honor and decency into American politics, if you did that the entire system would collapse. Because pro wrestling doesn't need rapists in it to function.

Right, there are plenty of talented and entertaining people in wrestling that manage to be decent human beings. It's not a pre-req for someone to be a POS to become a wrestler. I'm usually a "wait and see" person when it comes to a lot of stuff, but this looks and sounds pretty damning. There could be more to Riddle's situation but it doesn't look good. With sexual assault accusations, those who come out usually get the worst of the worst and you'd have to be pretty damn vindictive to put yourself through a lot of the verbal and online abuse someone goes through when coming forward and be lying.

Matt Riddle's lawyer has put out a press release ...printed on sticky labels? Well, this is certainly a sticky situation.

Are we sure Matt's lawyer isn't Lionel Hutz? Because a statement printed on sticky label paper certainly takes the cake.
