I mean... that’s exactly the thing I’d expect Matt Riddle’s lawyer to do.

And the label paper tweet is already gone. Who would have thought the guy who wrestled barefoot would have such clownshoes representation as his attorney?

Updated statement:
This lawyer needs to Fiverr a paralegal or something, it's embarrassing that someone like Riddle would entrust his career and livelihood to someone who both a) doesn't sign their press releases, and b) "drafts pleadings" but doesn't actually submit them against (alleged) cyberstalkers.
Just embarrassing all around, and doesn't help the case one bit.

So she has been accused of stalking by Matt's wife, and needed to change his number multiple times. Also, none of the other 3 people in the car noticed this? Not even the awake driver? I mean, I am not going to call her a liar, and assuming everything is true from Matt's side, the world's worst lawyer would be able to tear it apart, especially, if Matt can prove the stalking thing and the number changing thing. In comparison to most allegations aside from one that was straight up deleted, this is the most I think the other side has come out with accusations themselves about the other person having less than ideal behavior against them. It's a pretty volitile situation but it seems to have been enough to have Riddle's match removed from the Smackdown tapings. The fact this cost Matt money, if he sues, she is now libel for loss of income. Not to mention, the end of her career and potential criminal charges. On the other side, if this did happen, she has an extremely tough hill to climb

Just embarrassing all around, and doesn't help the case one bit. It's game over for her. The law agency would not be allowed to lie about that. He clearly has been dealing with this for a while. With multiple people in the car not noticing, her story would have been tough to prove in court. Now with historical evidence of Matt trying to sue her to obtain a restraining order, she has no hope in hell civilly or legally. She has also left herself open for one hell of a lawsuit.

Given how incompetent that was written we'll see how this goes. If they actually did go as far as getting an injunction Riddle would have taken all sorts of screen shots as evidence and the injunction would be public record as well.
Basically either way we'll know within a day if this is legit or not

goddamn does Riddle’s lawyer appear to be half-assed.
That thing reads like dude was on vacation or something and had to type up some bullshit really quickly.

Shouldn't knowing how to operate a printer and basic social media be considered part of the job? Or at least employing someone that can?

Daniel J. Rose has argued in front of every judge in the state, often as a lawyer.

I was lawyer in the court system working for a judge for almost a decade. You would not believe how bad and unprepared some of them are. One time the judge asked “Counsel, who do you represent in this case?” The attorney responded “To be honest your honor, I’m not sure.”

If indeed true, this guy has to not just lose his job but fully punished, i hope the E have sense and not have him appear on Smackdown tonight.

Sounds like there's quite a bit of history here. The original accuser posted some screenshots from June last year from Riddle and his wife which seem to suggest they were still having some kind of affair.
So Riddle was either sleeping with his stalker or she was having an affair with a guy who once raped her over a year previously (neither of which are impossible I guess). Or somewhere in between.
What I do know is anyone who thinks they know for sure one way or another is lying. And so anyone giving her shit on Twitter - and there are many by the looks of it - is totally out of order.

Something is up here and I’m not quite sure what.
It’s possible both things happened. He raped her and she stalked him after. Or maybe she’s telling the truth and he’s playing a dangerous game. Or she’s lying and he’s telling the truth.
I dunno here. I tend to believe her but when I look at Matt Riddle, I just instantly dislike him.
