Wonder what the play is if he can't make it to Fyter Fest. While Mox/Cage isn't exactly a god level program, the show needs that match to avoid becoming a weak card. If it were me, I'd set up an interim title fight with Cage and someone else (I don't know who, all of AEW's other main event talent is tied up, but it'd have to be someone big) and put Cage over them to build up for when Mox/Cage actually happens.
Who could afford a loss, give Cage a good match, and isn't doing something else? I'm really not sure that there is anyone unless you put Omega or Page on double duty.
AEW is taking a lot of losses they're going to have to work hard to recoup. The logical play would've been to stick Darby Allin in against Cage and let them put on a clinic, but Allin's probably not going to be on Dynamite again, or at the very least not for a significant period of time.

I assume his match is on July 8. That's cutting it awfully close.

Smart of him since it is two weeks until the show, so assuming he doesn't have it he should be fine to wrestle
Hurts the rest of the build tho

Damn it, lock up Renee too. Considering the news about more positive cases in WWE, she might very well be the first "contact with someone" mentioned. Wouldn't be surprised about other people with SO's in WWE (Shawn Spears, Big Swole, Britt Baker, etc.) following suit.

I mean, yeah unlike Tessa he can and will do that but for a physical feud it would feel hollow If anything just have him cut a promo and show him working out in his house to be physically ready for Cage as he keeps getting dominated by him

So is it 14 days or 21 days for quarantine? Mox should be safer than that. No reason not to push this back to All Out.

I want to see Moxley cut promos in his house only for the dogs to interrupt. I need Blue on TV.

So Moxley himself didn't have the contact with the infected person? I'm glad he's being kept away—better safe than sorry and it's the responsible thing to do in this situation*
*the most responsible thing for wrestling to do is shut down completely, but as that isn't happening this is a decent second thing

Good on him for taking this seriously.
As much as I'm looking forward to his match with Cage, the health of himself, Renee and the rest of the roster take priority.

I feel bad for Mox.
If the worst happens, however, this might be a blessing in disguise. I think Cage hasn't established himself in AEW yet. He's mainly dominated jobbers. A few more months of build could do him a world of good.

Does MJF or Wardlow have a match at Fyter yet? I can't remember but if not either of them would be a good pick against Cage. MJF could steal a win further cementing his management won't give me a shot thing. Cage gets the shot since winning the battle royal so taking a cheap loss over MJF when he dominates most of the match wouldn't hurt. Him beating Wardlow straight up in a monster battle could be good too.

Damn it, lock up Renee too. I hope this isnt real........... Sort of irresponsible by him to be putting that news out there without proof so people can run to WWE saying they ruined AEW

Smart of him since it is two weeks until the show, so assuming he doesn't have it he should be fine to wrestle Hurts the rest of the build tho If the test come back without having it, he be back. I don't know long it takes for results. As long he doesn't have it he should be fine to return. They are taking all the precautions. We are only thinking of alternatives if he has it.

Why would he need to quarantine at all if the test comes back negative?
