WTFM, everyone! I hope everyone's week has begun well. I have put this week's episode in spoilers again, because of it's size. As you notice, there's a lot of commercials. Like Chince Nickelman would say, "Gotta make those nickels and dimes somehow haha!" Anyway, I hope you enjoy... Some Wrestling on Monday!(see the gifs in the original post) These are amazing. I added links to them in the first post of the thread, so anyone new to the thread should know where to go to find them. The one thing that's kind of a drag is, being GIF-s, you have to wait for them to cycle to see them again. I donno if this is the kind of problem that will be made irrelevant over time as browsers start to bake-in features that give you "video-like controls to forward/rewind/pause animated gifs"... but if there's a simple way to start putting these GIFs together into online videos or something, that would be 10 pounds of awesome in a 5 pound bag even without sound (or with almost-no-extra-work audio like say, putting the NES Pro Wrestling game music loop behind the entire thing). |

Thanks, camphor🙂 I really appreciate the bump too. I know the GIF format isn't sustainable. I'm realizing as I'm creating that this is only getting bigger. I have been self-teaching how to photo-edit and animation on my phone. Luckily, my phone's default image gallery has basic editing software that allows me to break GIFs down by frame. The convenience of that has been beneficial in my learning. Now that I have sunk my teeth into this project, I will probably switch over to a video format going forward. The uploading will be the trick of it for me. Any advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated. If I can produce a decent looking video from this, I will toy around with adding in sound effects, and maybe music and voice-overs. That may be a while though haha. |

Sweet, and I totally get the "dipping your toe into something using the tools you have". (In my own recent experience, all my photoshops have come from me starting to use GIMP (the "Graphics Image Manipulation Program" with the unfortunate name) again, and I kind of stumbled across the fact it can do animated GIFs too, but it's a little hack-y (for example, you have to name layers weirdly by hand if you want to have custom frame durations). I'm not sure where to upload videos -- I know Youtube is all about vacuuming up every scrap of content, so I'd imagine they'd be happy to have them, but I'll DM you another suggestion for images that may work for Video too. |

Well, Hogan really slimmed down for this role didn't he? There’s that trailer for an Andre the Giant movie, not sure it ever got made, but the actor is in the worst wig ever, is tall and might weigh 200lbs given his height but looks about 150lbs. I’d post the link....but I’m not being responsible for that. Look for Andre Heart of the Giant and know, it’s real and don’t gouge your eyes out. ...and just like that, the SOME WRESTLING action figure line is back in business.  |
