As bad as HBO Max's launch was, at least you could watch it on a computer.

If they are unsuccessful, HBO Max and Peacock could merge and call themselves Max Cock. Underrated post

So...Apple TV? Is the only way to really watch it? Oh Smart TV I guess too. Honestly second not knowing what went wrong with HBO Max. I know one week AEW advertised it and now its gone.

The website says Chromecast is supported, but it loses its connection while trying to play anything.

The website says Chromecast is supported, but it loses its connection while trying to play anything. I know it doesn't support my Chromecast 1 (original) but it works fine on Chromecast 2 (second gen)

DAmn, for all the crap we give WWE, this makes me appreciate my WWE network a lot more.
I use them as an example because Hulu, Netflix, Youtube are the gold standard.

This is a surprisingly common thing that, if I remember correctly, has something to do with licensing rights or something. It's dumb as hell though.

Having every season of SNL was the only reason I wanted to get this. So I'm not going to.

I got to watch the new Psych movie, and that’s literally the only reason I had any interest in Peacock. So... mission accomplished I guess. The model of having some stuff for free but most stuff you have to pay for is pretty nuts and the app doesn’t do a good enough job of separating the free from the paid.
I can’t see myself ever paying for a subscription to this.

Still waiting for everyone to realise they diluted the market and license their stuff back to Netflix.

Let's review: Not available on Roku or Amazon No 4K or HDR Locks old Law and Order episodes behind a premium paywall Doesn't have all the old SNL seasons Video configuration problems (Apparently, you can't have more than one monitor) Can't use a VPN Losing titles already I predicted Peacock's launch would be worse than HBO Max's, and I was right. No Roku, no webtv, no 4K HDR, no VPN, no website, no external monitor supported, no Law & Order: Apple TV. Apple TV, Apple TV, Apple TV, Apple TV, Apple TV. & Smart TV. Some SNL.

I hope this keeps happening, honestly. Just keep launching and failing until the bubble bursts. I'm sick of everyone splitting the streaming pie in a million directions. Netflix is king because it came first. Disney+ is a hit because the Disney brand itself has a massive global fanbase. You ever see people walking around wearing NBC or WB logos on their shirts? Of course not, because no one cares about their name value. I'd argue the vast majority of people don't even know which company owns which TV shows.
This entire streaming thing going on right now is just asinine. If you aren't a global juggernaut who owns the biggest movies of all time like Disney, and you aren't offering something super specific like WWE Network, just stop. Make contracts with Netflix and Amazon. Save yourself the embarrassment, and spare us from constantly trying to figure out which service the show we've been watching has now jumped to.

Another good reason to stick with physical media. A lot less to worry about.

I mean f***ing really, I'm mad about this now.
How the f*** do you promise all of SNL and then not deliver it? I'm glad they're failing. They deserve it for that specific reason.

Cause that is the only thing that interests me on it too, I desperately need some Gus and Shawn in my life at the moment. If it is, then I have something to watch this weekend.

I watched it on launch night. There’s a Scott Steiner namedrop of all things.
