Did the lone animals ever do anything or that pre megazord combo? In which series? In MMPR the individual zords do an alright of ammount in season 1 (mostly the t-rex), and in season 2 the red dragon thunder zord battle mode gets alot of individual screen time. in wild force..the individual animal zords do their own thing when they debut but then that is about it.

And that's not including how much time both the Dragonzord (Dragon Caesar in Zyuranger) and the White Tigerzord (Won Tiger in Dairanger) got.

Zack, the MMPR Black ranger, used the Mastodon Zord to defeat an enemy at least once, maybe twice.

What I liked was how in the 2017 film, we got a moment with each of the rangers doing their thing in their own Zords. There was even something like that in the 1995 film.

As said, they mostly did a lot with the singular zords in MMPR
Wild Force was essentially built on this premise
Technically, with the Cars in Turbo they did somethings. TJ wrecked his shit to destory a monster (and the other megazords)

Did the lone animals ever do anything or that pre megazord combo? Not only do they do plenty of solo work on their own, but the first recorded kill in a zord on MMPR was NOT by the Megazord (Goldar ran away before they could take him out) but actually the Tyrannosaurus Zord in episode 2 ('High Five'). Also, there's an entire scene dedicated to the solo zords fighting Ivan Ooze in the MMPR movie, not to mention the Falconzord saving the train of kids by standing in for a bridge that collapsed.

There is alot more solo zord action in sentai Kakuranger literally did a 10 individual mecha fight something that to my recolection has never been replicated and is just an isane visual.

Heres a question: Did they ever actually utilize this set up? I swear we'd see it every episode where they come together and have the cannon arms and rolled around like a tank. But it was always shown as a transition from the individual zords to combining into the mega. As a kid i always wanted to see them actually utilize this thing and blast the shit out of someone with it.

Yes they used it in PR for like less than a handful of times.
They used both the cannons and the eye lazers.

Titanus was stoopid expensive though had to wait to get one at a far cheaper price and also when all the new zords were all the rage.
