Let's see.... Ab Fab (anything before Last Shout at least) Hetty Wainthropp (shows Pat Routledge could do lots more than Hyacinth) I'm a sucker for things Mary Berry. Mr. Bean The Vicar of Dibley The Mrs. Bradley Mysteries The Thin Blue Line (mostly first series) And...gosh, why am I not subscribed to this yet? (EDIT: Just saw you were only looking for comedies. Sorry for throwing in whatever drama I did. Still, trust me on those, as I liked them a lot too) What I wish was there... My Hero (it wasn't a high concept show, but it was fun) Coupling (I know, Steve Moffat isn't really popular these days, but I used to LOVE the heck out of this show. Well until Richard Coyle left. And when the NBC version took lots of wind out of my sails too) BRITTAS EMPIRE Mongrels (heck, do a Series 3 and beyond exclusively for it too!) Up In Town (Joanna Lumley series) Worst Week of My Life (one-joke show, but it was still fun. And had the irresistable Sarah Alexander.) Again, non-comedy, but what music variety programs do BBC have the rights to? Things that probably won't be there due to being associated with other channels, comedy and otherwise: The Dame Edna Experience Benny Hill The Avengers/New Avengers Sapphire and Steel Class Act (Joanna Lumley dramedy...from the time she was playing LOTS of Patsy Stone characters...)

Looking at BB's lineup...welp, there's a YOUNG HYANCINTH series?!!?

Aside from the classics already mentioned i'd recommend Rab C Nesbitt. Though you might need the subtitles to understand the Scottish accent. Yeah Glasweigans really don't sound like Rowdy Rody Piper.
