I wonder if they ever get a shot on a legit Cable Channel again. Because for them to keep momentum I think eventually they need to aim for something like that, and right now is the time, Cable is starved for new programming. With Anthem owning Impact and a majority of AXS I don't think that the goal is get on a different channel. I think Anthem's goal is for Impact to grow, make money off the twitch deal, merchandise and PPVs and help AXS grow. If that works then they'll be happy. Worked out well for Turner with GCW/WCW. That's pretty much it. Anthem want to expand the channels reach and views using Impact as a flagship show.

Didn't NJPW on AXS used to do about 500,000 viewers at its peak? As far as Impact goes I hate to say this but there's too much wrestling on TV and Impact is one I just dropped from my viewing. It was like watching low rent trash. It’d have been titanic news if NJPW did 500k for a clip show. I've only seen a 200k average figure for NJPW on AXS, that was from the Observer. It was a clip show on a small channel.

Good for Impact, they finally seem to have found a niche where they're not bouncing from disaster to disaster.
Did they ever release viewing figures for NJPW on AXS? People claimed they were doing amazing but I've never seen a source.

Which a lot of it is avoiding known problem talent and pushing them. Yea, with new talent like Myers, Slater, EC3, Good Bros you got some good people on your team who are hungry to prove themselves Give them the ball and let them work. Stay away from these troubled people since you don't have that luxury of keep doing this with them. Yes, Swann and Moose have worked but you also have El Patron and Tessa on your ledger Aries as well another problem talent, who also was made World Champion.

Arrrg -- and if memory served, he left with one of those "going into business by no-selling his loss to make the champion look bad" walk-offs after their biggest PPV of the year when his contract was running out. Then we all got a few weeks of legit wondering "but mebby it was a work -- is he really stupid enough to do that?" And of course the answer was "yup". (So the follow-up question was "who was stupid enough to put someone that stupid into a position where he could pooh on their biggest PPV's ending right before he walked out the door?"). Well, it wasn't Frank Stallone Dixie this time, but here's my best joke about Dixie anyway: (I just really like that picture of Sting)

Yea, and they turned him and Morrison/Mundo not liking each other in real life into an angle that was stupid The whole match was meant to be physical and personal to blue the lines. And then when Mundo pins Aries, he gets up Road Warriors style and walks to the back

NXT straight up murdered them in those 2 encounters on Tuesdays, though glad to see Impact bounce back after that.
That 200K viewership had Jordynne vs Tenille main eventing, its like the KOs division is heavily carrying Impact on their back.

This company made Alberto Del Rio their champion before their Wrestlemania weekend show, an honor and responsibility he took so seriously he just got drunk af the day of the show and didn’t show up.

If wrestling could ever got "hot" with the general public again..... absolutely, IMO. I just don't see that happening in the forseeable future (at least as of now).

Jordynne Grace, Taya, Deonna Purrazo (sp), Rosemary, Tenille Dashwood, etc. I'm not watching it, but I hope Impact continues to grow. It's another place for talent to work and the more the merrier with WWE being WWE.

Are any 2019 figures available for Impact for sake of comparison?

A 0.33 rating and not breaking the top 150 Cable rated shows doesn't mean the ratings are improving.

Limitless has a great women's roster. But unless you have IWTV all you will see is a the few matches they put up on Youtube. People like Delmi Exo,Ashley Vox and Davienne should be on nationwide tv.
