I didn't like Bea Priestly's run at all in AEW. Unless she's matured in a big way, well, if she wants to go to NXT UK, I'd be happy with that. The run in the beginning wasn't great. Thought she turned it around quite well near the end before the pandemic when she started rocking the green hair It's not like the AEW Women's division is in dire need of her services, but she would be another upper card heel they can work with.

With the potential of Bea Priestly making an AEW return, that reminds me... I still miss Jamie Hayter a lot. She was another one that was being used too much in Japan pre-pandemic to fully commit to anything AEW at the time but man she's good.

Meltzer said she's not going to AEW so she's almost certainly NXT bound (probably UK but door would always be open to coming to the US).

Again not like they entirely needed her and I know her reputation sours her on plenty of fans so I wouldn't consider it a huge loss If AEW signed Allyson Kay she could do everything Bea could and potentially better... she's somehow still a free agent somehow.

Jamie Hayter or Allyson Kay would be far more welcome than Bea.

Jamie Hayter is someone I've been a fan of since I got into the indies, and it is amazing seeing her becoming such a huge star. I would be SO happy if she came to AEW, and if they ever got to do a UK tour over here, the pop that she would get at a London show would be immense.

I’d be up for Jamie Hayter to come back. I thought she was very entertaining for the short time she was there.

Guess AEW wont sign her, she got straight up dominated by Britt on Elevation, besides its not like she will be a big lose in the division.

She probably was on a deal like guys such as Ryzin and Fuego have and it expired.

If she's actually heading off (she made comments like this shortly before she showed up on NWA), I'd be surprised that they ended her run the way they did. Like, getting squashed instantly is one thing (Red Velvet certainly moved on from it), but giving her an entrance and a little spotlight while calling out the squash feels like way too much attention to give to someone who's leaving due to lack of push unless it was done out of more spite than AEW's so far had on screen.

Guess we'll see. She'd be a hell of a story if she eventually upset Baker if not now down the line.

I hope Alex isnt one of those people who dont have the patience in waiting for the opportunity, look at Velvet and Kilynn, they had a big losing streak before finally getting a chance, they were patient enough in waiting for that push.

Maybe she's heading off but it's not as if the NWA is signing anyone new to exclusive contracts these days and they do block tapings. She might be cycled out for a bit but she could always return if she's taking time away from AEW for now.

I also feel like we need to broaden ourselves to what it means to be contracted and people can leave for certain times without it needing to be a big conspiracy theory of some kind. Mostly because I think we’re all just used to one company signing everyone regardless rather than being actual independent contractors.
But that’s a much bigger discussion than could be had here.

It's not even the first time Gracia left for awhile and simply came back later.

Abadon's been teasing alligning with Ryzin potentially, as Ryzin himself teases getting his first potential win.

It was always very strange how weak they booked Alex despite her having some very obvious star quality. She got outright squashed a number of times, occasionally not even getting a single move in, and then randomly got elevated to a match with Shida on Dynamite.
She almost certainly will be better off in NWA which has been a nice spot for women to find a niche for themselves.
