Other than the network not being a fan of multiple women segments the only other thing I can think of not featuring more of the talent is promos. Its a stupid reason if8 it is but they never seem to have other storylines featured regularly. And if they do, they don't seem to have much speaking promos (Matt Hardy was speaking on behalf of Bunny which is something at least). The only women on the roster to speak frequently is Britt which makes sense as she is the divisions best promo but Rosa, Nyla are decent talkers as well as having Smart Mark with Jade to mix things up. It's not a fault of the division but it's something that just crossed my mind. My read is that this is, in fact, a huge part of it. The long gaps between appearances actually track with some of the men on the roster; Sammy Guevara just mentioned on his vlog that he hasn't had a singles match in months. But Guevara is featured consistently with promos, tag matches, and group appearances, to where he never feels like he hasn't been around - I was actually surprised that it had been quite so long since he had had a one on one match. The women on the roster just...don't get those things. They get the same schedule for one on one matches, but nothing in between. The only wrestlers that they have who can carry an in-ring promo segment are Britt Baker, Thunder Rosa, and Nyla Rose - one of whom is being used to her full potential, another of whom is being de-emphasized presumably until she can sign a full contract, and the last of whom has been paired with a manager who is actively worse on the mic to ensure that she gets heel heat. This means two of their three good promo workers are not being used for that right now, and the rest of the roster is taking a hit to airtime because they aren't able to fill it the same way. And this is kind of a jarring issue for a division that had always intended to build around talent who don't speak English. With the incoming joshi talent as the pandemic settles, they should refocus on the buzz surrounding the tournament. Annoyingly it was barely featured on Dynamite but they should create promos for the division treating it like sports. Joshi talent that are still learning English can be featured in prmo packages with them subtitled which they tried when Riho was champ. If they wanted to make the Women's division the equivalent to WCWs cruiserweight, they have to consider different presentation. Hell, even the up and coming talent on Dark should get a brief promo time to once again build up some reps and confidence. Diamanté did a decent promo about a month ago which I never thought she could do. It helps establish characters rather than wrestlers who win squash matches each week.

There was no buzz surrounding the tournament which was shown mainly on YouTube & about six months ago!! With live crowds back we see reaction established women are getting in dark tapings. Just put them on TV. Tay vs King match should happened on dynamite.

When Rampage starts, no excuses. They already have time, and if TNT is getting in the way fine. Unlike TNT though, TBS has a few female led shows, so I don't think they're going to be a similar "blocker"
Rampage better have a lot more women's segments and matches.

At least gotta setup a mini feud in Tonights Elevation tapings that leads to next weeks Dynamite...
Kris and Allie feud is ending tonight.

The same executives run both TNT and TBS (and TruTV; the three are run together as a singular network group). If the network is an obstacle to women's wrestling on Dynamite, that's not going to change with the shift to TBS.
What could help Rampage is being in later timeslot so they might be able to get away with pushing more boundaries versus Dynamite's primetime slot.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} It's a big women's showcase for the first Non-Jax crowd of AEW in a long time
Riho, Yuka, Rosa, King, and Leyla Hirsch are all in action this week on Elevation.

Yuka vs Penelope should be solid, Penelope is the perfect woman to eat the L though I hope it leads to a mini feud(add Riho and Allie into this imo) until Fight for the Fallen.

Kris Statlander has been one of my favorites regardless of gender since she arrived in AEW. I’m so glad she’s come back looking incredible. Depending how things fall, I’d want her to be the one to eventually beat Britt.

Wait, Yuka’s appearing on Dynamite next week?
But nobody knows who she is!

Wait, Yuka’s appearing on Dynamite next week? But nobody knows who she is! Those things aren't mutually exclusive. I'd rather show features Statlander, Conti, Deeb or Abadon than build to one off match with temporary wrestler with no storyline.

As said to you before...Britt's last major angle before the pandemic was that she knocked Yuka's teeth out of her mouth. She's back for revenge. Boom, storyline. And I'm glad you're finally saying "I" instead of acting like the voice of everyone, is what I'm saying.

I remember Shida's reign being full of matches with little build & that set division back. Aew would be wise to avoid past mistakes

Nah, I'm right not to assume most US fans are hardcore followers of joshi.

AEW fans who have seen and watched Yuka in AEW vs AEW fans who don’t know her vs. most U.S. fans vs most U.S fans who aren’t “hardcore” followers of Joshi is an amazing octopus of stances.
The most peculiar of which is that Yuka is not exactly the best example of needing to be a hardcore Joshi fan to know lol. I agree casual American fans aren’t exactly versed in Joshi but AEW fans have seen Yuka a few times and her booking won’t deviate from anything AEW has proven they do for over the past year, and the same rationale suggests something dire about their actual roster.
