It's been said before but she's legitmately one of their makeup artists, and she's actually very good at that.

She's also very entertaining when she's just being Britt's dopey sidekick. She's gotten high marks on The Waiting Room for her Tony Atlas like laugh.

She also hasn't legitimately wrestled a match in months. As for her messing up the spot, are we really gonna come down on someone missing a cue during a tribute show where everyone was mentally not 100 percent? I feel there's a time and a place to come down on someone's workrate, the Brodie tribute show isn't it, and her slip up was harmless.

She's a fun character, I wouldn't mind Britt getting another henchwoman potentially who can serve better in ring, but Rebel was never put in that position in the first place, so I can't exactly call her a failure, she is there to help Britt gain advantage, and then take the fall.

Yeh Reba is on that role of " is a backstage worker but also helps on TV on a minor role".

The fact she didnt get votes for worst female wrestler shows her value as the funny sidekick

I thought Tay was actually pretty good in NXT. Watch some of her matches from the latter part of 2019. Was surprised she left/was cut.

I think it was more because, allegedly, she was difficult to work with at times (whether that might actually mean a male member of the team thought she was ala that whole Banks/Bayley BS from two years ago or whether it was because she had an attitude, who knows?) so if you were to cut people in the way WWE was, it’s easier to drop someone like her rather than anyone who doesn’t have those issues.

About Tay, the PC style never suited for her, its similar to Swole when AEW trying to force her the Kenny Omega style and wasnt working so now Malenko is helping her.

Rebel is an awful wrestler and they shouldn't have her do anything in the ring except maybe take bumps for Britt or help her cheat to win. But she's good in her non-wrestling role. She also does a pretty good job wearing the makeup artist hat, too.

As for Taya, I'm sure they'll try to pursue her once her contract with Impact is up. But I can imagine being in WWE with John Morrison has a lot of appeal to it, too.

If Khan did that, it would be some amazing storytelling to call back to Ford/Riho being her last feud

Then we get Orange/Chuck/Riho vs Miro/Kip/Ford... and I'm very ok with that

The AEW Women's Division has seen some slight improvements over the past month or two, but they need to get some joshi back (and even then it will likely be awhile when it comes to non-signed talents), and even then if I were a joshi, I would be sketchy about signing with AEW full time. Because part of the problem is the women don't get much time still on Dynamite, and I'm not sitting through AEW Dark when it has 13+ matches an episode, none of which really mean much. Combine that with the mishandling of Shida, and yeah. I won't go into it too much here, but if you look at Io Shirai's current NXT title reign and Shida's AEW title reign and compare them, its like night and day in terms of presentation.

Although I think the thing that really pisses me off the most is this dumb Shida/Abadon feud. Like...I'm supposed to believe a woman Shida completely squashed 6 months ago in a 3 minute match is supposed to be a threat? And that Shida is absolutely terrified of her? This is the kind of stuff I gave WWE grief for when it came to the Rollins/Fiend feud. Also don't care for the "zombie" bite that was done either. It felt like a poor (and failed) way to add heat to an absolutely ice cold feud.

I think the overall problem with the AEW Women's Division is that despite Tony and the other AEW executives preaching about how their women wrestlers are just as important as the men, the women are still treated like a sideshow act at best, and never actually given a chance to shine, instead being stuck as the cooldown segment. As far as I remember, they've never main evented a Dynamite, and don't get much time in the grand scheme of things. It's like...the one thing NXT (and WWE in general) completely slaughters AEW on in terms of both quality and public perception.

There are rumors that Rosa got the covid and thats why they scrapped her match vs Britt.

Shida vs Abadon was fine though the ending was abrupt.

Was her match cut? They didn't say that on the show officially, but that would suck if true.

Match seemed to be kicking into the next gear when it ended abruptly. Should've scrapped the weigh in so more time for it.

Just who does challenge Shida now. She's beaten everyone

Waiting Room is scheduled for next week on Dynamite, Tay vs Serena for the NWA womens title seemed thrown at the last min tbh

Doesn't necessarily preclude anything, I guess, since Riho beat Nyla to be crowned champion, but it was still Nyla who dethroned her.

Still, yeah, good question. Britt isn't outside of the realm of possibility, I guess, but one would imagine she'd need to resolve her feud with Rosa first if it were her to be crowned.

I guess if they want a face to do it, maybe Kris Statlander once she's ready to go again, but no idea how much time she still has left on her healing.

Any time AEW has had to cut a match with a Dynamite in between, they've just kind of stopped promoting it like they did here. So it would fit that pattern.
