Ooooh, that would be neat. Especially if they have to change taping locations for a month, gives an excuse for different kinds of content, sort of what WWE did with the CWC qualifiers.

It all depends if an entire half bracket is gonna be Joshi or not or if that just means it'll feature Joshi

Well it looks like 16 spots, so there might be a few fillers in the early rounds.

And this better all be on Dynamite and not regulated to Dark, which means more than just one women's match on Dynamite.

Cameron was fine, seems unecessary to drag her for no reason here.

A 16 woman bracket is very promising. I hope we see the likes of Kay, Vox, and some Impact girls in the mix here.

I wouldn't be upset if some matches were on Dynamite and some on DARK, but I would very much like to see the girls get a push and have a match on each hour of Dynamite. I would like to hope that's what Tony is imposing on himself here, break out of the dulldrum.

If it's a 16 woman tournament, go ahead and have some matches on DARK. It's fine. If it's an 8 woman tournament and it probably should be (especially if there are some big returns), keep it all on Dynamite over the course of three weeks with the finals at the PPV.

Highly unlikely I think tho. TJPW has big shows booked in the very near future and Korakuen for months. Just quarantining would mean having to skip those shows or doing them without big names.

TJPW does have an international championship that was made with the intention of defending against non-Japanese wrestlers (Rosa held it previously) and several wrestlers on the roster who have openly stated they want to appear in AEW. If they did some taping or streamed (preferably that since it would get people subscribed) Wrestle Universe matches it could be a pretty good thing for both companies.

Feels like it would be a waste if this doesn't feature at least a few debuts or pushes, and the numbers check out for that.

The strongest option would probably be if Taya Valkyrie, Allysin Kay, or an Impact wrestler showed up and dominated a block then lost the finals to Riho or Tay Conti. I could see Alex Gracia or KiLynn King getting a surprise round one win over an established name to get over and start a feud before going down in round two.

Stardom doesn't want their talent working with companies they don't have an agreement with reports say. That's why Riho quit the promotion and is moving to the states

Essentially we could be seeing any Joshi not immediately tied down by STARDOM or TJPW appear in this Tourney and beyond if they were able to get out of Japan

As they would have probably left around the same time Riho did, given the timetable may line up for her to return for this

It builds up several people. Any of the girls who realistically make the final four of this thing get two quality wins out of it. Even the loser gets three.
