So for what it's worth, Diajakovic (SP?) and Ciampa have deleted their tweets. Could see them part of a faction, with Ciampa even leading it. This is going to be my only serious post in this thread... A stable of Ciampa, Dijakovic and, like, Dain or somebody like that would have me interested... until they ruin it. Ciampa , Dain , Dijak (although I would not debut him right away let him sell what Kross did to him a bit longer) and the twist of KO joining if not leading them and just use the connection from WarGames to create a sense of cohesion as to why he is chummy with Ciampa. And maybe if they want throw in like two women...Chelsea Green being an obvious one and the been rumored to debut Vanessa Borne. The debut would be the only initial good thing and then like a car in a blacksplotion movie off the cliff it goes exploding for no reason.

I'm having fun with this. I'm looking at wrestling reporters and under used talent to see if they've posted anything weird.
Dijack blacked out his face on Twitter profile pic.
NOTE: NOT BLACKFACE!

Like, if you don't want to "waste" this thing by having it be a total surprise on the show, would it really be so hard to create a Twitter account called, like, "The Shadow Society" or something and have them post something vague about coming to Raw and causing chaos?

Hahaha. Vince: I promise to push whoever wins this thing. 10 minutes later Vince: (Picks up phone) Hey Brock, I have something for you!

Even Aces & Eights had a Twitter account talking about their next moves.

Late to this party, but "by any means necessary" was a bit on the nose.

Guys to be fair, we’ve seen Nexus done. We are very quick to complain that the wrestling business is repetitive and cyclical. But this IS different. I’m not saying they will but you can have a whole show revolve around a thickening atmosphere.
Have Shane come out, cut a promo, say we’ve all heard the news and if this new faction has problem with authority knows the time to do something about it. Nothing. No one comes out. Have Shane move on, actually have it so he had a point to coming out, he has his own announcement.
Then have various skits back stage of everyone getting paranoid, ask Orton what’s going on and he silently slinks off.
You can built an interesting two hour show around the tease of a faction rather than an exciting final 15 minutes

To which everybody will say "haha, what a cocktease, that was so dumb, they're so out of ideas they have to pretend they have some so people tune in!".
Which would probably be accurate.
In a world where people genuinely expect better of WWE, sure, it's not a terrible idea to build atmosphere, but it would have to actually go somewhere eventually and then actually mean something long term. Right now, nobody expects that, because WWE would just forget it ever happened and it'd all just be a pointless red herring.

Haha, I don’t mean literally don’t have anything happen. A climax would happen eventually on the show, but subvert the usual authority figure comes out and is interrupted and you never find out what they were going to say, that’s shit writing any annoys the crap out of me.
All I meant was by announcing it ahead of time it could and should colour every other storyline. Have MVP trying recruit with the lense of shits about to go down and you want us on side, have Orton who is the current big bad warn whoever it is to stay out of his way, have Zelina pumping Shane for info

Oh right, yeah, gotcha, totally agree. If you set something up, at least in the olden days, it made sense that it would be some kind of potential factor in everything else rather than pretty much every angle being weirdly silo'd. Wrestlers being off their game, confused, concerned, constantly paranoid about a random attack, all that stuff. Could be anything, who knows!
Edit: Kinda like a whodunnit murder mystery kinda deal, I guess, with hints and finger-pointing and misdirection. But it would definitely have to go somewhere cool at the end.

From Meltzer earlier: If the “predictable angle” is this new faction, then to me that means: 1. Undisputed Era 2. The NOD reboot 3. *shudders* nWo Did Meltzer have to tweet it in such a dick way. I surprised he didn't just say Yeah it's predictable, don't watch!

So... it's Brawl for All 2, in which a mysterious new faction appears, distracts somebody, and somehow Brock wins because obviously Brock wins?
