Just curious.
When I lived in NJ, these shows aired on WNYW (Fox 5) on Saturday and Sunday at 12pm for many years before they got rid of Challenge In 1995/and put Superstars At 4p on Saturdays in 1996 which was a VERY BAD time slot due to the fact it was prone to being premempted due to MLB (which to the best of my knowledge never happened) as well as the fact that I had to go to church.
For many years after I moved down to Bonita Springs, Florida, I wondered which stations down here aired the shows. I found out that my current ABC station WZVN aired one while another station from Tampa WFTS aired the other in the 80s. This was before the FCC enacted the Sydney rule which put a damper on cable systems carrying out of town stations (I don’t live in the Tampa market). Ironically both stations are now ABC stations.
Is there a site that mentions past affiliates of those shows? What affiliates aired these shows in your areas back in the day?

WWF Superstars aired at midnight on Saturdays - right after SNL - in the mid 90's on KTIV [local NBC] in Sioux City, Iowa. I woke up early every Sunday morning before Church to watch it on tape.
A decade later, that same timeslot and channel showed Heyman / SD-Six era Smackdown as we didn't have a UPN affiliated station.

WWF Challenge aired on WMUR TV back when I lived in New Hampshire and had a weird airing history in my area. When I first started watching it was on at 11:30 pm on Saturdays, then moved to Sundays at 2pm, then back to 11:30 on Saturdays, then to 12:30 am on Sunday morning. Once our town got cable, I watched it (along with Superstars) at 1pm (Superstars aired an hour earlier) on FOX 25. On a side note, aside from a few odd weeks when it aired at Midnight, Superstars had a permanent (until it moved to USA) Superstars always had the 12pm Saturday timeslot on FOX 25, even when the WWF was losing popularity.

Pittsburgh, PA: Superstars on Fox station Sunday mornings (1996; aired at the same as Action Zone on USA Network)

I do vaguely remember it being on later in the afternoon when it first started in 1986 as Superstars. Possibly when it first crossed over to WNYW. Of course, WWF's syndie shows were previously seen on WOR Channel 9 for years.

I hated leaving for church or not getting home in time to watch the end of it on Sunday’s. And curse Saturday baseball and football going into overtime

From about 85 until at least 97 Wrestling CHallenge aired on the NBC affilate outta Mobile AL right after SNL at Midnight. Superstars aired on two channels I got. 5pm Saturdays on Channel 44 outta Pensacola FL. Then at 7pm on Channel 15 WPMI Mobile AL,which is now the NBC affilate. WWF Spotlight was 6pm Saturdays on Channel 44.

For me in NH it was Fox 25, usually Superstars then Challenge back to back, starting anywhere from 11a-2p in the early '90s. I kind of fell off around 95-96.

CHAT TV carried Superstars on Saturday at 11 or noon. I forget when. I think 11. Then Maple Leaf Wrestling was on at 4 before Hockey Night in Canada.

I remember one of the episodes that aired at 4pm was one where the future JBL lost a match to Freddie Joe Floyd.

Fox had:
Superstars at 10AM Challenge at 11AM
CBS had: WCW syndicated at 10AM WCW syndicated at 12 AM
Then there was a random MidAtlantic Indy that got aired on one of the NBC affiliates that had Ricky Steamboat, preTatanka Tatanka, and a dude that wore an entire purple bodysuit and mask,

I recently found a commercial on an old VHS tape I recorded (Fox affiliate) that had WWF Superstars airing in a Saturday morning block with a WCW show. Anyone know anything about that?
Wrestling Challenge used to air on Saturdays pretty close to midnight or so.

Also, my old fox station WNYW also supposedly aired Superstars at 5pm on Saturday’s until the summer of 1988. I remember a still that Fox5 showed at 5pm on a. Saturday in 1988 that had the old WNYW logo in the bottom right corner and a pic of Hulk in the upper right and the announcer said that Superstars is off for the summer. The announcer said this despite the fact that Superstars was airing at 10am at the time on Saturdays on WNYW. Am I mistaken or did the announcer and/or WNYW make a mistake?

In Allentown, we literally had TV from Philly, NYC, Channel 11 WPXI out of Pittsburgh, and the local Allentown Channel 69. We had so much going on that I knew if I flipped around the channels I'd find wrestling or American Gladiators on the weekends although Channel 69 WFMZ was an oddity in that it only aired Challenge and did so on Sunday nights at 5 PM. For a long time, channels could only get Challenge if they had Superstars so I'm not sure how this was possible?

I live in an area where I get 2 different markets' affiliates, which means 2 channels for every major network.
I wanna say one market aired Superstars and Challenge on Saturday and Sunday at 12pm, while the other aired them both back-to-back on Saturdays from 12-2pm. I mainly watched Sat 12-2, but vaguely recall sometimes watching Challenge on Sundays (we'd visit my grandma on Sundays around 12pm and I remember watching it at her house sometimes - as well as the Three Stooges which aired on another channel from 10-12pm).

WFLD Channel 32 carried Superstars in the Chicago market. I don't remember where Challenge was aired. It may have also been on 32.
