... And doesn't it seem like years ago when his signing with Tampa was huge news?
Anyway, 43 years old, away from Belichick's system for the first time.. But it's Tom Brady, and Tampa has some serious weapons. How does it play out?
I'm predicting that he gets off to a surprisingly hot start before--and I hate to even put this out there since I love Brady--he gets injured and misses most of the season. I just have a bad feeling..

I just have a bad feeling.. Check out Brady's second half of last season. 11 TD's 5 INTs and only threw over 300 yards once. Those are game manager numbers. Granted he's going to have a much better receiving group this year but he wont be able to make some of the passes Winston made last season. He probably wont throw a third of the INTs he threw either. 26 TD 12 INT 4200 YRDs is my guess.

The entire system will be devised around him moving as little as possible...I think he will be okay. As stated he also has more weapons then he has had in years...Pretty interesting way to hang them up compared to say Jordan on the Wizards

I think he’s gonna kill it. When’s the last time he’s had weapons like Evans, Godwin, and well.... Gronk?

I think if the season happens he’s going to get injured on some freak play where no one touches him. Just have that feeling.

Well enough, but signs of Father Time catching up to him become more apparent

I watched every snap he had last year. Our receivers failed him. His numbers are impressive given what he had. If they can protect him, he'll be fine and produce pro bowl level nimbers. Won't be the best by any means but he'll be worth his contract.

I'm thinking he doesn't last more than 2 years, but something tells me he's doing this just so his last play ever wasn't a Pick 6

He won't win the Superbowl but he will be better than Mitch Trubumsky

Maybe a playoff team. The top teams in the NFC are still better than Tampa with a Brady in his 40s. Ten years ago he could elevate them; not so much now.

Maybe a playoff team. I'm not going to over hype it as a lot of people are, yes on Paper looks great. But what do we really know what Gronk, is going to be? I don't expect him to jump in and be the player he was. They can be great but I'm not calling super bowl champions yet.

I think the big thing is that Brady is motivated. Definitely more motivated than his last couple of years in New England. Been hearing about Brady organizing informal off season practices with his new teammates all summer.
He's out to prove to the NFL and the Patriots that he's not done. And a motivated Brady is a dangerous Brady. Barring injury they're making the playoffs for sure.
