Hell of a match, and even with Sammy winning, Matt obviously got his licks in, too, with that gash on Sammy's head.
I am glad that they made a point of explaining it a little more thoroughly, but I was surprised to see some think AEW was doing a Tables Match differently than WWE traditionally has. Barring some example I cannot think of, though, this isn't the case. You putting yourself through the table does not end the match. Hell, Matt himself made use of this in a Hardyz versus Dudleyz table match once by diving onto a table to break it and render it unusable on Jeff.
I think part of the confusion stems from how Sheamus won the title off of Cena in a table match, but WWE always insisted that Sheamus pushed him and made him fall through the table, even if it in reality looked like a small nudge. This would be considered an offensive move, still, shoving someone, would it not?

I wonder with the fans back if Matt will snap back into Brokenness again, I think it'd be for the best after Sammy beat him like this, also probably best for his hairline, the frizz hides the balding area For the time they had they definitely killed each other, it's definitely not over, Sammy definitely needed the win though and it was an emphatic way to do it.

I think they did the best they could, even with being affected by weird timing issues (commercial break two minutes after they took one prior to the match).

Felt the match was screwed over by lack of time.

Wasn't that part of the whole "Big Show always embarrasses himself at Wrestlemania (WHOOOOOOOOOOOO!)" thing that he was feuding with Cody about?

I could totally be remembering wrong, but I thought that happened because Cody dropkicked him, so he lost his footing and stepped on it. That said, wrestling being wrestling, it's possible they just f***ed that up.

No, that spot happened in the rematch at Extreme Rules (and it was how Moz described it, with Rhodes dropkicking the leg), so that “WrestleMania, baby! WOOOOO!” feud stuff had already happened.

Having Sammy get colour during the break and then not showing a replay was a weird choice, I wasn’t watching the break.

They probably didn't have much choice but to do a lot of break spots since when they came back they had like three minutes.

I think it was the first table Sammy went through that cut him, But yeah the commercial timing in that match was atrocious

Having one in the last like seven minutes of a show is ridiculous.

Fite decided to cut all picture in picture footage from their replay this week so 50% of this wasn't shown, shame, I was looking forward to it.

Far too rushed for a main event tables match.
Sammy gets a twist of fate on to a chair, and then pops right up in time to stop Matt on the top rope before superplexing him through the table for the win.
