Had just started cooking supper when I checked twitter and saw this. Horrible news, he'd had so many health issues the last few years and never stopped fighting, this was a really bad shock to read. I've been in fandom a long, loooong time and it feels so unfair when people so very young pass. And there have been a fair few of them the last couple of years too.
RIP.

RIP. His connections in and around the Performance Center was impressive. He was obviously plugged in, because he used to break so much news regarding developmental signings.

Casey's fandom and passion was loud and notable even back in times before the strides women's wrestling has been able to make in the mainstream. One of the most trusted voices in all of wrestling as far as news and dirt, but he never let it get overbearingly to his head the way that way less noteworthy or interesting superfans have. He remained positive, humble, and generally supportive of all the women wrestling out there, up and down all levels of fame in the industry. Genuinely a big loss.

This guy had so much passion for women’s wrestling, and was THE go-to person for reporting on the subject. He’s going to be greatly missed.

This is a grievous loss and women's wrestling has lost one of its strongest public advocates. 26 is way too damn young. RIP.

Honestly I wasn't that familiar with him but he popped up on my feed a few weeks ago when he was in hospital after having some kind of surgery? Really sad to hear he's no longer with us.
26 is no age at all and seeing the outpouring of support from both fans and highly respected people within the industry says it all.

If you want to know how loved and respected he is in the wrestling community, just look at all the condolences. Impact put out a statement about his death. Charlotte, the Bellas, Renee Young, Carmella, Mia Yim, Tegan, Peyton Royce, a whole lot of independent wrestlers, have all mentioned his death on Twitter. It took him no time to become the absolute source on American women's wrestling. Seeing the condolences from some big names, tells you how he was able to become the source so quickly. The wrestling community loved him, and considered him a friend. RIP Casey.
