I like watermelon the fruit, but watermelon flavored drinks and candy is just awful.

I can’t imagine this being any different.

Just picked up a 12 pack of cans at Walmart today. They didn't have and single bottles or cans. Haven't tried them yet.

apparently my local Kroger, which is where I'm doing all of my shopping these days, is carrying the 12 pack boxes too so I'll have to check this weekend when I go. Thanks

As part of a new partnership with Pepsi, Red Lobster has announced the debut of something called the Dew Garita, “the first official Mountain Dew cocktail.” (Because there are apparently unofficial ones floating around somewhere.)

“The DEW Garita pairs perfectly with Red Lobster’s iconic Cheddar Bay Biscuits,” Red Lobster said in a statement. No word if the biscuits agree.

The idea of pairing the Dew with alcohol — in a margarita, no less — is not as off-the-wall as you might expect.

Mountain Dew was actually intended to be a mixer when it debuted in the 1940s, because Tennessee brothers Barney and Ally Hartman needed soda for their whiskey. The name Mountain Dew is even slang for moonshine. But the original drink, a lemon-lime soda, wasn’t green or caffeinated.

What’s in the Dew Garita?

It sounds like a margarita — traditionally made with tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur and salt — but the restaurant chain says the recipe is “top secret.”

What we do know: this cocktail is the same kind of DayGlo green as the caffeine and sugar-charged soda now stylized as Mtn Dew. (No Mountain Dew Code Red seen here.)

When can you get a Dew Garita, if you so desire? The drink will be available at select Red Lobsters this month and at other locations across the country by the end of the year.

I found Voodoo in Dollar General. Bought two 12 packs of it.

Haven't seen Livewire locally in years. But it is like Surge. There is 2 gas stations locally that almost always have in tall boys of Surge. I will stop and grab one if I'm in that part of town.

I might try it, but their flavors are hit or miss with me:

Classic dew: it’s alright
Code red: damned good
Baja blast: disgusting
Lime: fantastic (apparently I’m the only one who thought so)
Orange: depends on my mood
Liberty: gross
Either of the berry flavors: hard pass
That white one: did not particularly care for it, but did not hate it like some others
Grape: never had it, but interested
Game fuels: never had and not remotely interested
