Not to go too off topic but because of this I just remembered the time TNA thought it would be a good look for Kurt Angle to say that WWE is "where the money is" on TV and holy f*** lmfao Also the time Billy Gunn in blackface was supposed to be a reasonable likable man done wrong by his former friends VKM's entire gimmick was to take shots at WWE, it's all they ever did. They literally HELD A PROMO outside of a WWE event with fans trying to make some sort of statement, this is real shit that happened...

He’s a definitely a good signing, but they really need another show or something to get all of these dudes on tv. Sooner rather than later.

Oh yeah, well... I AM OF AVERAGE INTELLIGENCE... AND... *continues to basically destroy all credibility he has.* God that's EXACTLY what I mean, lol. Like *one line* from Miro is absolutely nothing compared to TNA turning sad RF Video shoots in to promos. Remember when Christian Cage was going back to WWE so they had this whole loooong ass promo with Kurt Angle calling him a sellout and painting the most awful picture of TNA imaginable on accident before a really depressing beatdown? Like, if something is brief and to the point, it's already far from the average TNA worked shoot. Rusev said one thing about a company that put him through hell for years and told him "The fans are making fun of you". Then proceeded to transition to the fact he is a bruiser who will eat people in the ring and tear them apart. Then ended with picking Sabian up like a baby in celebration. All while wearing a Disney shirt. It was just perfect Miro, nobody should be hung up on one sentence when the promo and moment had so much more than that. These two are already great together.

They said within the next year, which could be a month from not or months from now, I guess it all depends on how they want to do it and how they want to present it in the current pandemic setting.

I have to admit this segment was amusing, though I dunno for the right reasons. Here we have Miro rant about being misused in WWE, never could grab the brass ring, break through the glass ceiling, etc. But then he debuts on AEW as the Best Man for a glorified jobber like Kip Sabian, haha. I tend to think the idea here is that Penelope Ford will be cheating on Kip with Miro and they'll quickly kick Kip to the side to have Penelope with Miro, and thus have a main event act.

Yeah, I feel people are letting TNA poison the well on other companies who aren't guilty of those TNA sins.

Sabian is far from a jobber. Jobber as a term is starting to become hyperbolic among wrestling fans. He has a ton of wins this year in both singles and tag. In tag he was actually having a great run until Havoc well, got erased from existence. Miro being his muscle adds legitimacy to the team and also means Miro never has to get pinned if they lose. This is a perfect odd couple high flyer/powerhouse team like Butcher and Blade. It's a great way to introduce Miro and not have him immediately jump into a crowded singles scene as it stands right now. Sabian's a fun character and so is Miro, chemistry will probably be a main selling point to this.

As someone who has seen and documented more than my fair share of TNA's worst "pay attention to us damnit!" crap, I think I'm more than qualified to weigh in on this. Miro's one sentence shot should be ultimately pretty harmless, IMO.

Great for him. He’s definitely going to excel, and it’s a great signing.
“Brass ring” is 1000% the new “company up north.”

Yeah, I feel people are letting TNA poison the well on other companies who aren't guilty of those TNA sins. Guy gets himself super over, is buried, objectively. Guy gets fired during a pandemic, loses his income. Guy makes comeback to another company, is hired to do what he loves, and tells his truth in a comeback promo. Certain people on the internet "Ummmm Vince Russo and Dixie Carter did something 14 years ago, so I think AEW shouldn't do it!" Brodie Lee just had an article on ESPN about his work in AEW. Has TNA EVER HAD AN ARTICLE ABOUT HOW MUCH BETTER A WRESTLER IS DOING IN TNA OVER WWE appear on freakin ESPN.com/ No. It's a new decade. People. Need. To. Stop. Bringing. Up. TNA.

And with Miro signed, how soon will it be before Lana joins? Hopefully, mostly as a manager and not as a wrestler. Well, that segment went from zero to Miro real quick.

youtu.be/4dPJZWyyCq4Dude sounds super humble and makes me love the big guy so much more. Cannot wait for him to smash some people. So many fresh match ups for him, so many people for him to play off of. I'm hoping for big things from him, he deserves so much credit for being able to entertain no matter what was thrown at him and I cannot wait to see him thrive here on out.

Two things to take away from this: 1. "I meant everything I said" should be the end of it. He wasn't told to say anything, he meant everything he said because of everything he went through in the company. You can argue that you don't wanna hear about it or if it's lame but AEW doesn't feed their wrestlers lines or scripts, it's all from the heart. That's what ultimately seperates it from TNA I feel. 2. Anna Jay vs Brandi is gonna happen on next weeks DARK is sounds like given the theme music that was going on in the back there, and I'm excited for that!

I marked out when he showed up. I'm really excited to see him outside of the wwe bubble. His promo was fiery and like others said, it was only one line. Not anywhere near TNA's bs. Also, the blonde hair is definitely a choice 😂

Pretty sure it was 100% him and what he wanted to say given all the shit they've done to both him and his wife in their tenure there Looks like they're focusing on him and Sabian now, all good. I don't care. That was another company, save that shit for shoot interviews Get'em, Tiger! Tell that Miro what's what!

I don't think people remember how bad TNA's shoot promos about WWE were. Miro spending all of ten seconds talking about brass rings is nothing compared to some of the meandering shit TNA's former WWE talent would say about "the company up north." And that's without the shit they'd have Kip and BG James do as The James Gang and later Voodoo Kin Mafia (which was such a transparent attempt at having a faction with Vince McMahon's initials).
