Always a good day when Dallas loses. Yes, that honestly made me feel better after the Eagles loss... because the hilarity of FOOTBALL TEAM being first in the division for a week is pretty good in itself.

Eagles desperately need to get their offensive tackle situation right, they face the Rams next week, Wentz will die if they don't get some backup and fast. Other than that Saunders is desperately needed as well, and I'm getting so tired of it being the same song and dance of injuries with this team and their vagueness on the severity of them. Been way too consistent for my liking.

Washington and Jacksonville are in a Super Bowl collision course at this point and time.

Last night went exactly the way I thought it would.
End of game sequence, Cowboys are down by 1 score. The Cowboys are huddled around McCarthy ,"We got 90 seconds Coach, what's your plan?" McCarthy stares blankly at Dak, "Do that thing you always do Aaron!" Dak responds, "The hell you talking about? We need a plan!" McCarthy starts to wander around aimlessly, "WHAT IS THIS PLACE? THERE'S NO CHEESEHEADS HERE! I'VE NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE!?" he reaches out and touches Dak on the arm, "AHHHHhhhhh, he's not Aaron Rodgers!?"
Dude literally has never had to deal with "end of game coaching" for a decade plus. Dallas is going to had a record similar to last year with a bunch of single score losses.

As a Colts fan, I've been conditioned to think that no 4th quarter deficit is too big to overcome. 20+ years of Manning/Luck will do that to you. Hell, even Brissett had a few comeback wins in him last year. We are talking about a franchise so spoiled that we got pissy about a 7-9 record.

Yeah, that was the reason I wanted them to trade him as soon as they drafted his replacement. I didn't trust him to stay healthy and wanted to get something for him. He'll get signed by someone next season, but it will be after the deadline for even compensatory picks.

Why must Fournette disappoint me every chance he gets. Currently, Jacksonville seems very in the right for cutting him.

Ah, sorry, I should've mentioned that it was for the Super Bowl. Thank you for the response though. Ah, ok. For the Bears, it's possible. They have a good team overall, their only question mark (although it's a pretty big one) is can their young quarterback be a good starter. (Or will he ever be a good starter.) If that year turns out to be this year, the Bears could be a contender. Thank you for the response, I don't know much of NFL so I had no idea lol. Guess I'll have to root for them now for the season.

Why must Fournette disappoint me every chance he gets. I picked him up as the last pick in my fantasy draft. I still feel ripped off. Although i feel like I should wait another week or 2 before he hits the garbage can. My team is solid enough right now to hold him until the byes start.

Usually, the reserve MNF crew is a hodge-podge of disappointment or mockery. This year, I think they did good by having the top college broadcasting crew.

Classic Giants.
They get a D/ST turnover inside the 5 and only get a FG. Steelers D gets a turnover and calmly march down the short field for TD.
Why yes, there is a reason why this team has lost 30+ games in the last 3 seasons. And of course, the Steeler front is shitting on Saquon for good measure as well.

This game feels like one of those dumpster fire Jets-Bills 12-9 shitty weather December games, but they managed to actually score some TD's to break up the defensive field goal party. And it's September. And the weather is perfect. And it's the Steelers and Giants.

The one good thing about this game on the Giants' side of things is that I don't see any particularly awful playcalling. Just mistakes on execution.
