If they cut an injured member of AOP, I don’t see why they don’t cut Lars Sullivan and call it good... He was cleared. It was reported a few weeks ago that AOP were set to return this month.

f*** off, hahaha. How infuriating to see this shit about the company posting record profits but then get told you’re getting cut in a f***ing pandemic for “budget reasons.”
Of the many many MANY gross things WWE has done, I really do think this is gonna stand the test of time of being one of the scummiest in terms of scale and the context.

VKM: Goddamn Thunderdome not going to pay for itself, pals!
Budget guy: But isn’t the PC significantly cheaper and we can save money?
VKM: Thunderdome, bitches!

Any chance we see some 'worked releases' and then the guys announced as released today turn up as Retribution in a few weeks? Possibly.

Hey remember when people said all these furlough-ings would be temporary and surely everyone would be back to work once there was work for them?

Looks like this will mostly be the furloughed staff from April Yeah, I think there's a business thing about furloughs / unemployment only lasting a certain period of time. My company let 2 people go last week because "extending furloughs beyond Labor Day creates problems" (manager's words); at least all the other people were brought back from furlough but those 2, based on business & what our client was basically telling us they'd pay for, couldn't be. So this might be a case of bringing certain people back and then cutting the rest who don't have a set place in the current business model.

I don’t know what the breakdown here will be, but so far from the furloughed crew, they’ve let Gerald Briscoe go, and brought back Josiah Williams and reportedly Nigel McGuinness.

I personally would not be able to give WWE any money even if it was good. it is not one or two things, and I bet that all we see is just the tip of the iceberg

That random ending with Elmo saying ''Elmo knows where you live'' always makes me lol.

Any chance we see some 'worked releases' and then the guys announced as released today turn up as Retribution in a few weeks? That wouldn't make sense. Why would they cause trouble BEFORE they are released. Then again making sense hasn't been a priority with this angle so far so that's probably going to happen.

Don't see any wrestling names yet but as others have said seeing WWE cut backstage staff in a record setting profit quarter is just incredible to me, especially when they wanna continue to act petty over the most trivial of shit.
Would be something if we avoided more talent cuts at least but given AOP got released they aren't against it.
