The Texans president has resigned.
The complete dumpsterfire that the Texans have become over the last few years has bumped "Out of Luck: How the Colts ruined the next surefire thing" from the top of my list of eventual 30 for 30 episdoes I am dying to watch

The Texans president has resigned. The complete dumpsterfire that the Texans have become over the last few years has bumped "Out of Luck: How the Colts ruined the next surefire thing" from the top of my list of eventual 30 for 30 episdoes I am dying to watch The Colts one is really simple anyways. It boils down to a few key elements: 1) Jim Irsay is generally a nice, loyal guy who is willing to give people extra chances other owners would not. 2) Ryan Grigson was a terrible GM, particularly when it came to evaluating offensive linemen. He also was too arrogant to learn from his mistakes, because that would require acknowledging said mistakes. He also drove players away from the team with his behavior. 3) Andrew Luck isn’t Peyton Manning, because Peyton would have forced Irsay to fire Grigson years before he did. 4) Lastly, I still don’t understand why any dome team would hire any coach that will implement a 3-4 defensive scheme, especially the Colts (where the field is apparently the most optimum for speed). I liked Pagano and thought he had his strengths (for instance, I wish Frank Reich had his ability to change game plans during halftime in response to the opponent the way Pagano could, but if Pagano could game plan like Reich the Colts would have won a lot more games under him in the first place).

Looks like they're still keeping the guy whose only previous football experience was being the chaplain of the Patriots as EVP. What a joke.

The Texans have hired Josh McDaniels' brother Ben as an assistant WR coach.

Ain’t nothing going to top Tom Brady getting absolutely shit faced drunk and pitching the Lombardi trophy from boat to boat during the Bucs Super Bowl boat parade today.

From Schefter on FB:
Clarifications on Britt Reid, per league source: He was placed on leave with the Chiefs through the duration of his contract, which has since expired and he no longer is an employee with the club.

Seeing Tom Brady get white girl wasted is something I didn't know I needed until now.
Brady's doing one of the biggest face turns in NFL History with this stint in Tampa.

I'm fulling expecting the NFL to temporarily take over the Texans operations for the betterment of the league at some point within the next 12 months.
There's a lot of very... strange things going on down there. Some of those hires are batshit crazy. Some of the rumors leaking out are even more crazy.

The Texans have been in trouble since the racist comments but this is a full on mutiny. Bad coaching and management has finally caught up to them You trade one of the best WRs in the game for a bag of peanuts. Your two franchise leaders on defense and offense both want out NBA franchises usually crater this hard but you hardly see it in the NFL

Pitt with that defense and adding JJ Watt, MY GOD!!! If Big Ben can stay out his own way, that defense will carry them. Problem is cap tho. They would have to either cut Big Ben or give him an extension to make this work Of course the ultimate fantasy booking is signing JJ and somehow trading for Aaron Rodgers

Watt wants to go to a winning team and try to get a ring to cap his HOF career, nothing wrong with that he gave Houston everything he had and if any Texans fans blame Watt or Deshaun for wanting out they're just being petty. That being said I bet he joins Brady in Tampa
