Sean Ross Sapp is saying he heard that the match broke down in terms of planning and real shots were exchanged at various points. So I’m going to say they’re not going to sign Ivelisse... Who shot first? I only saw the beginning of that match and Ivelisse was moving so sluggish that Rosa had to slow down to match her. And from this report I first thought oh so she was trying to sabotage, probably annoyed that she had to job to Rosa who is much better than her in such a short time. But then I think I recall seeing Rosa slapping Ivelisse a good one, like she was telling her "hey. Stop being so sucky and get your butt in gear" Everyone will jump at Ivelisse cause of her rep but I think more clarity is needed before the hammer comes down

Like did the issues start before the match or did something happen that had Ivelisse shut down and Rosa get pissed? The match itself wasn't ruined over it but something clearly happened. Ivelisse shutting down isn't a good look, but I don't exactly know where it all began.

Ivelisse has been wrestling for like twice as long as Thunder Rosa, if not longer, so I wonder if that was a sticking point, since usually the veteran sets the pace, whereas Thunder Rosa seems like someone who has an idea of what she likes to get done, and honestly, this match was about her, not Ivelisse.

Said it before in two other threads, I loved this match. If this what it looks like when they don't communicate or whatever then I never want them to, they were having a hell of a fight.

I haven’t seen much of AEW but I checked out this match after it started getting some buzz online (mostly not for the right reasons). I thought it was a pretty good. Ivelisse is really talented and the only thing that’s held her back from being a big star is her attitude (RIP to Casey Michael who HATED her). My first time seeing Thunder Rosa and, wow, she is good. I know AEW has been having problems developing a fully formed women’s division but I would definitely invest in Thunder Rosa if I were them. The only real spot that stood out negatively to me is one that’s already become pretty infamous, Ivelisse’s lackadaisical selling of the full nelson: www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comments/iv3sbc/something_was_seriously_wrong_in_this_match/
