Just a general thread I’ve been walking around a lot by the one near my house for exercise. I haven’t been to the gym since March because I’ve still been trying to be as safe as possible with the pandemic. I use YouTube workout videos at home, but you can only do that so much. I’ve always liked going for long walks and long runs. The cemetery by me is great for that since there are seldom many people there and you don’t have to worry about traffic. When I was first losing weight back in 2011/2012 I used to do the same thing at a cemetery in West Bridgewater, MA. There is very little going on in that town, but the cemetery is great. Back when Covid-19 first started they even shut it down which was a top story for that town. It has since probably re-opened. Also, I love reading about real estate and saw a house in Watertown, MA for sale recently for under $500,000. For those who don’t know Watertown is a very nice suburb of Boston and getting a house for under $500,000 there is a steal. I Googled it and the realtor photos conveniently avoided showing that it was right across the street from a cemetery. I actually wouldn’t mind living across from one. Although I’d definitely use it as a bargaining chip to get the price of such a house down

There's one a real short walk from my apartment. I go there to read sometimes when the weather is nice. Always really quiet, I find it peaceful.

Whenever I go visit my dad, I feel like I could take a nap. So peaceful.

I also live within walking distance of a few cemeteries. I use the walking paths to get my steps in, and occasionally I’ll slow down and read some of the headstones. Some of them are from the 1800s. I’m amazed at how elaborate some of the memorials and statues are.

You know why they have fences around cemeteries?
Cause people are dying to get inside.

There's one about 10 minutes from me. Stones go back to the 1710's and there are people from the 17th century under ground for sure.

There is a few tiny ones near me. One of them has glow in the dark tombstones. Was eerie first time i drove by it at night and saw something glowing in the cementary.
