If Ben gets a good offer from the WWE, he'd be a fool not to take it because he could walk onto the roster and be bulletproof. He'd be the first talent to visibly choose them over AEW so they would lay the world at his feet so he looks like a star to show AEW isn't the best option, even if it is for many guys. He's also got Seth 'company man' Rollins in his corner too, which doesn't hurt. Anyone who follows probably won't get the same star treatment.
As great as a get he would be for AEW, he probably wouldn't get the star treatment immediately because of how stacked the roster is, while Vince and Hunter gave no qualms about discarding talent for a shiny new toy. If they chew him up, AEW and others will still be there.

Losing people is the unfortunate reality of the method they're using. Having people try out on live TV to gauge performance and audience interest works well for them, but not everybody is going to be signed, and sometimes there'll be some misses. It's inevitable, even without considering how the competition is richer than god and willing to spend.

Does he still have Visa issues? WWE can’t sign him if so. He was working for AEW for free due to not being able to legally pay him.

He got a shot, made a lot of it, and his trainer's company, who wants to hurt a competitor, has come calling. You don't think he wouldn't get the NXT UK title in his first shot? You don't think he would be on Smackdown right away working with Rollins and Murphy against Rey? Yeah, as much as I blown away by him, he would be foolish to sign with AEW. I just don't see a reason he would pick AEW over WWE.

I just don't see a reason he would pick AEW over WWE. Because he might not want to be known as the guy who took the easy ride? AEW means he has to make his own name, WWE means they will want to do it for him, and people will accuse him of getting a leg up because of X or Y. I agree with other posters saying it makes the most sense for him to go WWE because they likely will strap a rocket too him, but I can see why he might personally feel AEW would avoid people being able to level that sort of criticism at him

Maybe they'll sign him, he'll be unseen for ages and then suddenly just be a random dude on NXT UK or 205 Live. Just because he was trained by Rollins doesn't lead me to believe that he'll come in and be given the world.
