Chuck Taylor may be a dork, but he's a dork that gets some of the weirdest stuff over with fans. He's now gotten "HE'S GONNA TRY", "Spooky Perverts" and "Weenies" over. He just has a charm about him to do so. I'd expect nothing less from the Kentucky Gentleman.

Might as well call it the Smelling Our Own Farts Invitational The Iron SOOFI match?

SCU facing FTR now makes sense with Scorpio/Spears feud being setup on Late Dynamite.

I'm not sure what I want more: for them to lose to a team that outdoes them in their obsessive 80's rule-bending style...or for them to get completely squashed after being forced to compete in a lucha tag rules match. Man, I wish Lucha Bros were faces, I love Lucha Rules tag matches, they're such a breath of fresh air, and I imagine Penta and Fenix just tear shit up in that rules set.

For me the big things putting me off of Chuck and Trent is just that they have this, "These guys feel like total amateurs," quality to them I can't quite put my finger on and that neither of them sells anything. Though I am loosening up on them - at this point they're just kind of, "Eh, whatever," for me instead of, "They pretty much ruin the show's momentum with their presence," like I was feeling about them. That pretty much sums up how I felt about Kevin Owens for years. Chuck Taylor doesn’t feel like a pro wrestler at all.

FTR have threatened to subject us to 20 minute long FTR matches every week, making them the most despicable heels in wrestling right now. They're going to have to develop a time machine to make sure there's more 80s tag finishers to pad out their matches with.

FTR aren't even high quality weenies. They're Bar S weenies.

FTR aren't even high quality weenies. They're Bar S weenies. They’re canned Vienna Sausages. And it sucks that they’re so f***ing lame, because Tully is fantastic.

Wow people really hate FTR here. I find them refreshing and different than the other teams. I’ve enjoyed them and most of their matches are good in my opinion. Tully definitely helps their image too.

I agree. FTR are fantastic, love Tully, and can't understand the hate. I enjoy their matches, they're dicks, and I love old school. I remember when they were leaving WWE a lot of people were down on them, and I didn't get why. Still don't.

I loved the Revival in NXT... I haven't really watched much NXT but I did catch their match against Private Party... (last week?) and... it was ok I guess... it seemed like it went on for f***ing ever though.

Man, I wish Lucha Bros were faces, I love Lucha Rules tag matches, they're such a breath of fresh air, and I imagine Penta and Fenix just tear shit up in that rules set. Co-signed. They could use a face turn. And inversely Private Party should turn heel. Just to balance things out. As for FTR they are not my cup of tea. But they’re gosh darn good in the ring and I can acknowledge that. And they’re heels currently, so no reason to like them. But hopefully whoever takes the titles is a hell of a payoff.

Calling someone "weenies" sounds like a corny insult Cena would come up with back in the day.

I don't hate them either, and while hate comments for any wrestler are gonna exist online it really feels like people hate FTR here than like anywhere else I've seen.

I didn't get this thing at all. FTR went from these inscrutable calculating badasses who managed to break up the Elite, who crippled Matt Hardy to tie two dangerous teams up with each other, to acting like a pair of Jeff Jarretts sans guitar. The whole acting like weenies thing better turn out to have some pay-off cause if we're meant to take that at face value, FTR are dead.

They were fantastic in NXT but since they left there, they’ve been extremely boring both in matches and in character work. They break out a good match sometimes (the Jurassic Express match was very good as were a few main roster matches in WWE) but lately they seem to have overly long, drawn out matches that drag.

I think a lot of people remember the Horseman and other heel groups as being much more serious than they actually were. Like, yeah, they were credible and backed up a lot of their talk in the ring, but they also showed a lot of ass to put faces over. Tully and Arn were not above some comedy or cowardice.

That's all well and good but we already have those kinds of heels in the Dark Order and the Inner Circle and they both do it much better. The implicit promise for FTR when they brought them in was that they were gonna be something different, but they're just more of the same only a lesser version.
