Knicks giving a pile of money and sacrificing their future for a selfish superstar, who at their best might carry them to an 8 Seed (with a cherry-on-top first round sweep), would be the most Knicks thing ever.

The word is they are "weary" of giving up assets for expensive vets like CP3 and Westbrook They are kicking the tires essentially and considering a bunch of options

Hornets are also interested in Brodie as well If I can do it and keep the third pick I think I'd do it if I was Charlotte. Wonder if Rozier + Zeller + Monk is enough. I bet they'd want Bridges.

The 3rd pick wouldn't even be in the equation Rozier, expiring Zeller contract, Monk and maybe a heavily protected first that is going to be a 2nd round pick should do it It would give Charlotte the star power they want and if they can Wiseman at the 3rd pick, they'd end up with a good starting five

Crazy that pre-season games start less than a month from today.

The Pistons were assholes on the court and made lots of enemies. Not to mention, Thomas hasn't exactly earned much credibility or fans with his touch of death everywhere he has gone after playing.

For the Pacers City jerseys, I hope this year they go for the Indianapolis Olympians.
Real old school.

And even besides that, Isiah has a bad rep of coming off fake. Smile in your face and stick a dagger in your back It's not like Jordan holds a grudge against the whole Pistons team. Just more so the two figureheads in Bill and Isiah and the fact Isiah never showed him that respect either is worse in Jordan eyes.

This is what he did to the Toronto Raptors in 1997 when he couldn't buy them. The pouted and quit. Poisoned the franchise and star player Damon Stoudamire's mind. I find it weird we honor guys who have turned their back on our franchise, but I guess it's a Toronto thing.

No way in hell the best offer OKC got for Schroeder is 28th pick in the draft. That's basically a "give him to the Lakers for pennies" to increase the chance of Clippers going out early in the playoffs trade which would increase the value of the picks the Clippers owe them if Kawhi opts out in 2021.

Schroder was verry effective last season, much moreso than 2019. Wonder if that means Rondo is gone. It also could be the tip of the iceberg for OKC. Soon after, Gallo signs elsewhere. That's 2 of your starters from a playoff team. If you move CP3 at the draft, that's 3. Then Adams is potentially 4. They may keep Adams as PR, but I vote scorched earth rebuild.

LOL at non Lakers fans calling this highway robbery lol stay salty On the surface of it a 28th pick and a salary match expiring contract for a perrential 6th man of the year contender would be highway robbery. But if Schroedder is one of the daggers in the Lakers arsenal that propel them to beat the Clippers in the playofs then it's a brillaint trade by the OKC GM. It's entirely in his best interest to assist the Lakers because Kawhi opting out makes those LAC picks potentially top 5-10 draft picks. It's colusion which the league should be against, but the way trades are structured anyone who manages the OKC should want to offer deals like that to any top western team who can beat LAC in the playoffs.

Shoutout to Pelina who continues to be a smart GM if they can get Dennis
It's not a bad trade on OKC front tho they probably could get more. EIther way, it is an asset gained and the fire sale begins
Lakers really only got Kuzma and White Mamba to move now which I guess they try to acquire another guard or a Forward.
