It's funny; he's had a really good stretch of games lately while getting no hype at all for a guy who was JUST #1 overall. He had a pretty trash line last night, but he got all up in Watanabe's face and Twitter lost their mind. Edwards was supposed to be a guy with medium-high upside who wasn't quite polished. It seems a lot of people thought he would look more like the 7 point with the monster jam than the 28 point guy against the Lakers the other night.

The worry on Edwards was he was really raw as a talent and while not superstar upside like LaMelo, he has at least has All Star upside The question was does he love the game enough to turn that raw talent into skill and not be another Andrew Wiggins Wolves have to be happy he is showing some flash unlike Culver who has really given them not a lot in 2 years

Houston’s going to waive DeMarcus because they want to go smaller and younger behind Christian Wood.
Is he going to fall into another ring chase and get scooped up by BKLYN? He’d fit right in with their defense.

He’d fit right in with their defense. Sounds like this was mutual They just guaranteed his veteran min yesterday but since they were straight up with him in regards to wanting Wood to play off injury, i'm guessing Cousins would rather leave now then get the time until Woods comes back Houston did right by him. They said they gave him the money because he has been nothing but professional

I saw they guaranteed his money, but then saw this earlier and didn’t know if they had a last second change of heart.

He played well enough to show he can be good enough in short burst while still showing flashes of at least being an X factor at least on offense. BK has to be on his list since they need a big. Clippers I think take a stab. Raptors need a defensive big but Cousins could be up their alley. Boston I think is an underdog to get him

Lakers are among teams interested in Cousins I immediately called Brooklyn, but I wonder if Cuz is stubborn enough with his loyalty mantra to shun his former teammate who basically threw him and the rest of his former Rockets under the bus a few months back? Especially if other teams are knocking, I’d think they’re far down the list.

Well, it’s being said if anything Harden might hold that up if he holds a grudge for Boogie calling him out after he got traded But considering people thought Harden wouldn’t go to BK because of D’Antoni and generally Harden being more melo in BK, I’m sure they would talk about it and let it go

Wolves coach Ryan Saunders fired after their L last night to the Knicks
You knew this was coming. Injuries have really killed them so can’t fault him too much but someone head was going to have to role since this season is basically a wash for them

Nets beat a full strength Clippers squad last night
They are not great vs teams under .500 but if I remember correctly they are now 11-1 versus teams over .500
Still got to get that defense under control but they play up and play down to the teams they are facing

The Bucks are going after PJ Tucker but Rockets are telling teams they want a player instead of a pick for Tucker. That's going to hurt teams like Lakers, Bucks, etc who don't really have player collateral
76ers are keeping their eyes on Kyle Lowry
Boston is looking at a few players from Beal, Harrison Barnes, Oladipo, to Thad Young

I’m ready for the Kings to hard sell. Buddy, Barnes, Holmes, Bjelica. Basically everyone thats not named DeFox, Tyrese, or Marvin. Best case is the team gets really hot again and competes for the 8 seed. That’s not good enough. For the first time in ever TEAR IT ALL DOWN. Quit trying to cobble together a shitty team that has 8-seed potential.
Hopefully Hassan wants to keep hanging out on minimum deals because he’s the vet presence everyone loves and is still pretty good, but everyone else can go.
My man Jabari Parker actually showed up last night and played not embarrassing defense which surprised me.

Kings may hold him until the offseason and then move him unless they get a fairly decent offer with a team getting desperate Barnes, Bjelica are most likely trades. Hassan if they can't find a dealer might be a cut as I assume he wants to hop on a championship team

Mainly keeping him on as a still young and relatively inexpensive lottery ticket... who’s value isn’t that great. I will compliment him a bit as Hassan Whiteside told him to man-up and quit being a joke on defense, and he listened/took it to heart and ... well, he at least tries now. Hitting the three a decent clip too. He’s improving. He’s no Luka (thanks Vlade), But he’s getting better.

You gonna make a push for the 9th seed? Not like you can't deal picks for players in the off-season, and get somebody who has outgrown their role on another squad.
