The Spurs came back last night after extended time off with 5 guys out for Covid reasons plus DeRozan out due to his father's passing away. LaMarcus Aldridge came off the bench and from the way him, Pop and Dejounte Murray were talking about it sounds like that is the plan with him going forward. I admire the way LaMarcus has handled his time in San Antonio since pretty much from day 1 it has not gone as planned. Now some people are mad at Patty Mills for having a turnover and then blowing his assignment on defense that ended up costing the Spurs their game against OKC last night... They did well considering that they were 6 men short and they didn't play a game since February 15, though. As far as the Heat showing interest un Rudy Gay goes, I'm intrigued by the idea but I wonder who would they offer for him.

They were off for a long time and were missing 3 of their 4 best guys, it could have been SO much worse. Yeah I don't think the Heat would offer anything I would want for Rudy. I also don't think the Spurs are gonna do anything trade wise. They're right in the playoff hunt and value the young guys getting playoff experience more than a pick maybe 4 or 5 spots higher. Aldridge is definitely the most expendable but I don't think anyone is taking him without us taking a bad contract or attaching an asset. Better to just let the contracts expire.

Knicks have some interest in Drummond assuming they can get him at the same cheap price that Cavs paid for him

First time getting to really watch the Kings this year
This is a good athletic team but yeah Walton def isn't the coach for them
Their best starting 5 is Fox, Haliburton, Hield, Barnes and Bagley. Defensively it ain't the best but they run up and down the court like they supposed to

That boy Haliburton is good Fox/Hali/Bagley, trade absolutely everyone else. — The team needs a full-fledged tear down. From the ground up with those three and the top pick this season. No more trying to scrape by for the 8 seed. Eventually the front office will hit right with their high pick.

That boy Haliburton is good Fox/Hali/Bagley, trade absolutely everyone else. Yea, they have a good trio to start with there Each man gives effort and i'm liking the way Bagley runs up the court outpacing the defenders since he's fast for a man his size. They just need more players around them but those 3 should be the building blocks for a playoff team

Holmes ain’t it. Basically a younger more spry Hassan Whiteside. A large athletic man that can cover the paint, doesn’t need the ball, and makes teams think about driving into the paint. And that’s not a knock on Holmes. I like him. I think he could help any team in the league. His game just doesn’t compute with Bagley, and Bagley is part of the future not Holmes

Current Knick Nerlens Noel fits that bold and someone they should consider signing in the offseason if he doesn't come back to the Knicks If Pelicans consider trading Steven Adams, he fits there as well. They need to go back to what they was a few years ago before they made the mistakes of signing people like Ariza and other veterans Young team that's going to run you out the building. Defense is going to be shakey but you got to put up 120 to keep with them. Kenny Atkinson as a coach should be someone they heavily look at assuming they fire Walton

This is the saddest basketball I've ever seen. If you did this in 1994, you're benched for the next 5 games. Good luck getting out of Riley's doghouse or Jerry Sloan's. But today, nothing.

Fundamental basketball is dead If you had a tough coach that play would be shown all film all day while you run that same play all practice while also running suicides

I love how some people are blaming analytics. I get that people shoot more 3's now because of that but I'm sure any model would say just take the 99% guarantee layup every time in that situation.

Bobby Knight would have started tossing chairs at his own players during the game if they pulled that shit.

Fundamental basketball is dead If you had a tough coach that play would be shown all film all day while you run that same play all practice while also running suicides In fairness to Jamal Murray the dude didn't make a mistake.Looks like he picked up his dribble to get the defender to come to him so someone could cut to the basket with no defenders but when he looked up at the rim for someone to pass to to all 3 of his teammates ran to spot up for 3. Not sure if that is bad coaching or bad instncts on all 3 guys.

That's a game wide problem tho which is why it reared its ugly head at this wrong time Instinct and basic basketball IQ tells you, you're supposed to cut which MPJ deserves blame on. I blame Murray for not running hard to the hole because he started pulling back as soon as he crossed halfcourt. If he would kept running straight someone should been running with them but that slight hesitation shut off another opportunity Just bad play all around which deals with the bad fundamentals

Is 10 straight losses and getting beaten by Detroit enough to get Luke Walton fired?

Is 10 straight losses and getting beaten by Detroit enough to get Luke Walton fired? Considering how close the All Star break is, he is coming close but as I said other day the news around the league is he is the next "favorite" to be fired so it is only a matter of time
