Last night was the worst home loss in NBA history as Oklahoma City was defeated by Indiana. At one point, the Pacers were up 67 points, just shy of the record point differential.
There's tanking and then there's what the Thunder are doing.

(This included a 50 point loss to the Jazz without Conley and Mitchell while stroll TRYING to win!)

The Mavs are a dumpster fire outside of Luka. What a disaster of a roster.

The Mavs are a dumpster fire outside of Luka. What a disaster of a roster. KP ain't shit and always injured, Tim Hardaway Jr has always been a hot and cold player, Josh Richardson has been so-so The team itself isn't bad but inconsistent and without a 2nd star the Mavs will be only winning if Luka goes Super Saiyan Knicks have to be laughing. KP looking lost with Julius Randle looking like the better player and they got 2 1st round picks from Dallas to cash in on.

The Lakers are lucky the Mavs just blew it tonight. No excuse to lose to the Kings at home.

www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/31382214/lebron-james-battles-sore-ankle-frustrated-los-angeles-lakers-lose-again"Whoever came up with that shit needs to be fired" Listen, I don't necessarily disagree but I don't mind the play in either. This puts more emphasis on winning and not resting throughout the season. They need to make winning your division automatic top 4 seed but that can cause problems but I digress. Just like with Wildcard in MLB, you are now more focused on staying above the position so you don't have to do a play in This sounds like a little salty on LeBron part. Y'all was like 21-6 and dominate and nothing about play in was mentioned. Injuries happens and you have had some type of injury 2/3 years of your Laker time. Shit going get harder as you get older

Anything that lights a fire under the ass of an NBA team is good for the sport. Some years the sport was flat out dreadful leading into the playoffs with the majority of games being half-assed because so many teams were either resting or tanking. At least this playoff change added some urgency for more teams during this final push in the season.

Agreed Like I didn't care for the WC play in in MLB at first but I grew to like it because teams can't just be content. Before you was able to win the WC and not be at a disadvantage besides home field but now with the 2 spots, you have to work your way in on top of using your best pitcher and be at a potential disadvantage if you make it to next round Same is applying here. LeBron is feeling a little pressure cause Lakers aren't fully healthy and with the season ending in a week or so, you now feel pressure because you have to potentially play your way in. Lakers would be resting comfortable for the next week in the old system knowing they are guaranteed a spot no matter what but now their is urgency. Same with Portland, Mavs, Boston etc they all feeling pressure

Do any of these West teams not want to play in the play in game. The Mavs and the Blazers are failing to take advantage of the Lakers mis fortune. What the Mavs did last night and what the Blazers are doing tonight, I am sure Lakers haters are losing their minds.
As a Knick fan I have this weird relationship with the Hawks, I want them to lose so we get more distant, but I want them to win so they stay in the 5 seed, I want no part of the Heat.

One of the worst defensive teams in the NBA would get even worse,if by some miracle Love was bought out and not a giant cap hit for a new team,a healthy Kevin Love(not a given) doesn't help them win a series.

Knicks beat Memphis tonight and have won 37 games, officially clinching a winning season for the first time in a really long time. Derrick Rose played one of his best games since he was in Chicago.
The over/under on them at the beginning of the season was 21 games and even the most optimistic projections said you'd be happy with them winning 30. They blew expectations out of the water.

The Knicks are for real. I have to tell you, I was hoping for a 3-3 road trip, but I think I might get greedy and hope for a 4-2 trip and put this 4 seed away early. Depends what happens in the next two games, they win one of the next two, than I will get greedy. The toughest two are the next two, I think we can steal a game in LA.
We will see what happens with the Nuggets and Lakers tonight and see if the Nuggets can win another one. If they do, this Wednesday the hottest teams in the East and West collide.

Carmelo Anthony is now the 10th most highest scoring player in NBA. He's only won three total playoff series. Always kinda sad seeing elite high level talent accomplish between jack and crap when it matters. I'm not even talking about Rings, just post season success in general. His postseason record is like 26-51. Brutal.

Westbrook will finish this season and have averaged a triple double for the 4th time
Very impressive and I can't say it doesn't mean anything BUT it just continues to come across as a guy who puts up numbers is inefficient. If he wasn't putting up triple doubles, like he wasn't earlier this season people see the player he is
He hamstrings your team because he has to do everything in order to get the most out of him. That f***s over your other ballhandlers and your Center who has to box out so Westbrook can grab rebounds.
Wiz have been hot and we shall see if this carries into the playoffs but thus far in his career it hasn't
