White/Naito matches suck ass I loved their WK match earlier this year but after it was over had no interest in seeing them wrestle again for a loooong time. I don't think we'll actually see them wrestle each other at WK next year though. Yea, with the way things are going if Ibushi gets the title shot at 1/4, that's looking like an Ibushi win Gedo has worked hard to make White/Ibushi a headline type feud. It is a lot of trust in them to have them be the main event at 1/5 tho. A non Okada/Tanahashi/Naito main event is def going be weird to see

I was lamenting the fact that they've seemed to go with Jay getting his shot night 2.

I'm over this double champion gimmick. It made some sense to try and make Naito's beyond long overdue title win more important. However, it's run its course. Naito should defend one on 1/4 and one on 1/5, losing one so it can become its own thing again.

Naito should defend one on 1/4 and one on 1/5, losing one so it can become its own thing again. And Naito said after he won the titles back against EVIL he doesn't want to defend them together They had an easy out in having SANADA take the IC title off Naito

Tama Tonga announced that G.O.D. are back in Japan for World Tag League. Gedo, you must resist the urge to put the titles back on them

G.O.D are an albatross on the division.

People are wondering what Tanahashi will be doing at the dome. I propose this:
Bastard heel Shingo vs. Underdog babyface Tanahashi for the NEVER Openweight Championship.
That's good enough to usurp either double title match for the main event spot.

Yeah I don't know what Tanahashi will be doing.
Too big a name for a throwaway match. Unless he wins WTL with a new partner

Just announced the Main Events for both shows, Tetsuya Naito will face Kota Ibushi at Night 1.
At Night 2, the winner will defend against Jay White

It's official: Naito/Ibushi for the titles on 1/4, with the winner facing White on 1/5.
Also, Okada/Ospreay will take place on 1/4.

Winner will face White on the 5th.
If they don't murder each other in the ring first.

Precisely why he wants the match on the 5th instead of being on the first show I would love for him to say that's the exact reason why he put it on the 5th. Because there's a good chance they'll kill each other first and he'll be the double champion by default.

I'm hoping like hell this leads to Ibushi winning (and retaining, I guess) at WK, because if it doesn't happen now I don't see it happening period. He's the same age as Naito and has to be just as banged up as him, if not more so.

World Tag League 2020:
G.O.D. FinJuice Ishii/Yano ZSJ/Taichi EVIL/Yujiro Fale/Owens Shingo/SANADA Goto/Yoshi-Hashi Tanahashi/Henare Khan/Mystery Partner
I wish they’d use Ishii/Goto and Yano/Yoshi-Hashi rather than the CHAOS pairings we got.
