Stardust I maintain to this day it was a great character, but undermined by the commentators mocking it. I also genuinely loved Stardust. He was always one of my favorite parts of the show when he was around. Just a silly children's cartoon villain with a great look and an awesome theme.

I did like his brief teaming with King Barrett and Ascension, like they felt like Power Rangers villains in the most fun sort of way, but I am the sort of person who wants Dungeon of Doom in my wrestling.

I think the ideal wrestling promotion has the Dungeon of Doom and nWo co-existing without it seeming incongruous. I'd argue AEW are doing a pretty good job of that! WWE could have done it too if they'd managed the Wyatts better when the Shield were around. I'll contribute to my own thread now that I'm not falling asleep. Jinder's title win. The reign itself was handled poorly at every turn but the initial win was great. I was more excited to see where they'd go with it than I've been for anything since then, though I had just started watching again a few months earlier and didn't know about the company's track record of bungling things or the India deal. One of the biggest complaints was that he was hotshot to the title but I think it's something you can do once in a blue moon -- I look at it like athletes who come out of nowhere to go on crazy runs. I'm with you on this one. When I had reached a point of not caring if WWE succeeded as long as I could keep watching, this was one of my favourite booking choices in years. As for me: main event Jeff Jarrett. I started watching in '99 so he was already main event to me when he showed up in WCW because they just said that he was, and I liked his gear. He had a cool action figure. So him main eventing TNA forever made plenty of sense to me too even though everyone hated it! I dug the Misfits in Action. I mean, General Rection/Hugh G. Rection was a terrible name but the commentators usually just called him Hugh Morrus, but I liked the idea of the tenured midcarders forming a stable, I liked the military theme, and my high school aged self couldn't get enough of Major Gunns. I was never sure why Lash LeRoux was with them instead of the New Blood though, he hadn't been around as long as a bunch of the people in it.
Oh, Lash. I loved that guy.
