As ridiculous as some of these might have been, I love them all now! Which one is your favorite and makes you feel nostalgic?

Outside of the Warrior laser beams one, WWF Mania, and the Superstars Are you Ready theme (and I have a soft spot for that one), most of those intros are perfectly fine, especially the SNME intro.

I agree. They should put some of the modern ridiculous ones - like the Raw 2002 intro. That tried so hard to be edgy that it's embarrassing.

LiveWire has a pretty iconic intro, not sure if I would've put that one on there. And I'd forgotten about that awkward zoom-in on Warrior's nipples in the laserbeam one.

I like this. Can't put my finger on it..... "ridiculously retro" doesn't really damn anything as being ridiculous, but it could if you want it to. The #1 is the perfect #1 given those parameters. LiveWire has a pretty iconic intro, not sure if I would've put that one on there. It belongs. Dial up modems are quite retro, and I'm sure some kids watching has no idea what any of that intro was. ;p

Who sang the superstars song for number one? It was...interesting lol. Sunny to her credit really went for it with the singing

I'm noticing alot of these intros were from when the shows were syndicated on Saturday and Sunday Mornings

Man I miss livewire. It kept kids who couldn't stay up late to watch RAW up to speed with the product.

Sunny to her credit really went for it with the singing His name was Big Al, and the Superstars intro was actually a rewritten version of a song he performed earlier in 1995 for the WrestleMania XI TV special. How do I know this? Because I saw him sing the WrestleMania version in person, during the SummerSlam ‘95 countdown show. (I guess they were taping his vocals that night for use later, because the special aired in the fall if I remember correctly.)

Thanks for that, thought I recognized the voice but I dont recognize the name (unless it's big al Yankovic lol)

The Summerslam 88, classic SNME, and Wrestlemania IV intros are awesome, not ridiculous.

I loved that Summerslam 88 intro; it told the story of the main event and had a killer theme to boot!

I just pretend that "ridiculous retro" meant "ridiculousLY retro". Puts my mind at ease.
My faves were the SummerSlam '88 one and I always got a kick out of the giant slot machine.

At least the electrocuted Warrior intro gave him his super pin move in the In Your House game.
