Title says it all what are the oddest wrestling masks that have ever been seen in a ring? There are plenty of generic masks but what really stand out as unique or just plain what were they thinking? One that comes to mind for me is Ebessan which is quite the look.  |

Jody Fleisch's Dakko Chan mask from his brief tenure in Michinoku Pro looks like minstrel facepaint, which is a bit weird:
EDIT - My research tells me this is in fact based on a Japanese toy from the sixties. I can't decide if this is more or less weird.

I always thought Matematico's mask was damn strange, as it's just a regular lucha mask, but with numbers on it. Of course, I never understood what his gimmick was supposed to be anyways, is he a wrestling mathematician? He really likes numbers? I wish I knew what the thinking was when he came up with that.  |

Ophidian's mask is the only one I can think of that puts the guy's face into the mouth of the mask. Super creative.
Even weirder, the newest season of The Masked Singer has a costume that's pretty much exactly the same.

It's not too weird, since dragons are cool and everything, but Drago's masks fascinate me. Are they rigid? They hold a lot of sharp detail for a wrestling mask, but surely it has to be softer than it looks, or his mask would be kinda dangerous in the ring. When you step away from the legacy, the innovation and success of his career, Liger's mask is really silly with the horns etc. His mask originally looked more evocative of the Jushin Liger anime, kind of like how Tiger Mask was also a tie-in character, but he moved away from that decently quickly, and it began to evolve to be more unique. |

Yes, he wore the full bodysuit all through his matches. Ya know I actually once made a wrestler in one of my games that I called Rorschach. I basically just put a zebra print on Rey Mysterio. |
