Kevin Gausman’s ERA through 9 starts; 1.66
Probably not sustainable. Lol

You get a no hitter...and you get a no hitter...everyone gets a no hitter!

Corey Kluber pitches the first no hitter for the Yankees since David Cone's perfect game in 1999. A single walk was the only baserunner, so he was damned close to a perfect game himself.

When was the last time the Yankees had a no hitter on the road. Every Yankee no hitter in my life time at least has been at home.

Yankees got the no hitter today. Wonder who gets it tomorrow.

The Rangers traded for Kluber, he got hurt in his first start; misses the season, and now he no-hits them. Not his fault he got hurt; but I’d still think Ranger fans are a bit salty, right now.

Major League Baseball might have to move the mound or do something — pitchers are dominating the game like they haven’t since 1968.
The last time there were more than six no-hitters in a single season was 2015. It’s May and we’ve already had six no-no’s.

Sweet. A Yankee no-hitter on my birthday.
Gary Sanchez is pretty much out of a job at this point. Pitchers seem like night and day between Higashioka catching and Sanchez.

Baseball gods: "Oh, you want to be pissy when Tatis hits a grand slam? Well Rangers, we'll give you stuff to be really mad about."

Lowering the mound has to be seriously considered. They did it in 1968 — lowering the mound from 15 inches to 10 — and batting averages jumped more than 10 points.

We'll have to see what happens with the rest of the season. And I wouldn't make any drastic changes based on one season when it could be a statistical outlier. If it turns into a trend over a few seasons, then you think about doing stuff like lowering the mound.

Yea, this can pretty much just be a season trend
You're seeing more no hitters cause dudes don't really swing for contact, they swing for power which is a big reason why K's are up on both sides. Hitters got to adjust, this is on them

Giants up a cool 10-0, I’m pretty sure it’s safe to call this one a sweep. Bring on the Dodgers this weekend.
