His reps have denied it. Also, Mets out on Sugano. Huh. Guess the Giants are in on Sugano. That’s neat. Bet they’ll end up in second place like they always do. Lmao His decision is supposed to come by Thurs which is the deadline I mean there is two Giants in play, San Fran and Yomiuri. Word is Yomiuri has made him a strong offer that none of the MLB clubs have surpassed but if he jumps to the states he wants to play for a big market so San Fran is still in play Red Sox have been cheap so it all depend on if Blue Jays offer is something big

Idk if I'm being impatient or Cohen's spending power is going to my head, but the hot stove being ice cold is pissing me off to no end. For the entire league, just not the Mets.

Welcome to my world a few weeks ago Padres lit a match but yeah this has been unbelievably cold. Shameful for all the MLB teams

Poor Indians fans. That rumored return is very underwhelming. Wierd how bad the Cubs and Indians look when at the end of 2016, they looked like they were both going to be contenders for AT LEAST the next 5 years.

With the money they are unloading, it is a fair deal. If you want better prospects, pay more of the salary.

The full Mets-Indians trade involves six players switching teams, per sources. Mets receive: Francisco Lindor, Carlos Carrasco Indians receive: Amed Rosario, Andrés Giménez, Josh Wolf, Isaiah Greene
The Indians have traded Francisco Lindor, Trevor Bauer, Mike Clevinger, Corey Kluber and Carlos Carrasco in the last 18 months.

Problem is, even with all those trades the Indians farm system isn't even top 5 Hell, they might not even be top 10. More like 12-14 range like they were last year Also their top prospects are still a few years away besides McKenzie and maybe Nolan Jones.

Yep, Cleveland ownership is cheap as hell, and the Cubs don't give a shit since they won the World Series. Shit, the Cubs know that Bryant is out of there first chance he gets, thanks to ownership f***ing him over with service time.

I mean I get it, but this is being way too cheap There is something to be said in regards to retooling and not thinking Lindor would come back but they didn't even give him an offer to consider Shameful

The Padres are acquiring high level players for nothing, in today's baseball if you're willing to pay the jack you can trade for anyone with minimal prospects. Cleveland values saving 40 mill over keeping stud players.

Which is bad business Yes, you will never most likely get that value back in the player you are dealing but you want to give yourself a strong chance of rebounding sooner then later. In Washington case, they had options to fall back on and surprisingly won a WS Boston cratered this year and Indians are basically going to run Shane Bieber into the ground
