Still doesn't feel real. So happy to have Lindor and Carrasco.

RIP, he was always entertaining. But it is better to see a guy pass at 93 than a lot of the premature deaths we've seen in sports the last year. He lived a long, full life; the best any of us could hope for.

Just a shame that he passed so soon after being released from a lengthy hospital stay. But man 93 is one hell of a life lived.

Lasorda passing hits me hard as a Dodgers fan, I’m glad he got to see another championship, but my heart goes out to his family. Great dude who gave a lot to everybody he met, Rest In Peace.
Hope Doyers repeat in his honor.

Giants trade last seasons goat Sam Coonrod for someone Ragland, who was picked in the 4th round of the draft last season.
Coonrod is filthy but close to 30 and still has no idea where his ball is going. Like a less good Hunter Strickland, who isn’t even that good himself.

Giants grabbed Alex Wood off the discount pile. Going the Gausman/Smyly route again of signing formerly good pitchers coming off a bad year to a cheap contract.
Maybe they’ll be able to flip him... or maybe they just keep him around like they did Gausman. Idk what Farhan’s plan is.

Looks like DJ LeMahieu's going to be on the Yanks for six years @ $90 million. People are going to balk at the years because of DJ's age, but even if his power fades, he's a steady contact hitter and an incredibly versatile fielder.

I'm not even mad at the deal For the dollar amount under $100 mill, they can eat over 6 years At worst his later years, he becomes a super utility player you can put anywhere and knowing he will hit for contact

It averages out to $15 million a year, which tells you that DJ cares more about job security than money. It's not like you're paying him Jacoby Ellsbury money.

Right I honestly would been fine at 3/$75 mill. Short term deal but DJ gets a nice bump from what he got. The fact you got him at this "cheap" a deal is a steal if he continues to play the ball he has played with the Yankees At this point all Yankees got to do is lock up Judge and Gleyber and they are set in terms of their core for the next 5 years. Jury still out on Gary but in theory you have a good amount of contracts where you got everyone locked up through their prime years

Corey Kluber to the Yankees
If he can bounce back 75% of what he was, it’s a great signing

the White Sox have been building quite the team so far, as a Cubs fan im like "whhhhyyyyyy??!!!!" but damn if that wont be some exciting baseball to watch on the south side since I currently cant get the cubs network to watch their games. However its LaRussa managing so I expect this Sox team to finish 3rd in the standings and miss the playoffs by 1 game.
