The Brewers pitching staff seems absolutely ridiculous. It might be recency bias but I’m taking them in most series.

Boston looked like an automatic playoff team and now the surging Yankees and Blue Jays have made it interesting WC looks like it will come down to Boston, Oakland, Yankees and Blue Jays for the two spots. At the very least, an AL East team will make it to the WC You can draw a direct line between Boston’s collapse and ownership not doing a damn thing at the trade deadline. It’s a direct correlation. This team needed to get better, because everyone around them was improving, and they stood pat. And they’re seeing the results of the failure to act at the deadline.

Offense has gone cold which it will come back The argument I can see despite them needing a 1B, the pitching finally came back to Earth. Throwing Pivetta, Perez and Richards out there every 5th day, they outperformed their abilities for a long time and everything was clicking great Alex Cora was pushing all the buttons but right now nothing is clicking and this is bad time to go on a bad stretch after the deadline cause you have to live with the team you got

If Yelich can come back and be close to MVP Yelich with their offense already good, i'd agree they got a great chance BUT, Dodgers is still the clear cream of the crop. Offense is stupid without Mookie and Bellinger playing to their levels and you still have to face Max, Buehler, Urias and Kershaw

Hader’s on the Covid list. You know this is over if he’s healthy to close the ninth. That plus bullshit extra innings, this game isn’t one to point at to prove you’re not the team to beat.

Giants are fxxxing resilient. They’re nowhere near as talented as their record but here we are in August. Lol, I’ll keep riding the wave.

Avi Garcia is the sickest man in Milwaukee right now. He went straight 2015 Elvis Andrus.

Anthony Rizzo makes the latest Yankee to hit the Covid list. Luke Voit gets the call-up in his stead.

Brewers have a real chance of making the World Series. SP is great, and then Williams/Suter/Boxberger/Hader in the pen. Whether they can hit enough is the question.
Hot take: the 2021 Blue Jays are the 2015-16 Astros (minus the cheating). In a year or two they will be winning 100+ games and go on a multi year run.

Blue Jays need the pitching to reach that level and no one on their staff is close to Verlander/Cole level They got Berrios which is a nice start but they need an absolute Ace

16-18 inning home run derby’s are infinitely better than winning or losing a game on two groundouts that never ever ever should end in a fxxxing run. Then score when it's your turn at bat. It's not like they have the extra runner and you don't.

Every single pitcher they throw out is filthy. Much like other competitive Brewers teams, their bats will go silent in October. I still think the road to the WS goes through LA or possibly Atlanta.
