Back when the Mako XP was gimped and you got way more for killing stuff on foot, nothing ruined a Thresher Maw's day more than a Bastion with Stasis Specialization spec-ed. That thing was busted.

It's amazing how different each game plays... I just started 3 and the movement mechanics are so much different than 2 which was different than 1...
not to mention the which guns you can carry >_> which went from the first one you can carry any but depending on your specialization you'd be better at a certain...
to 2's your specialization means that you can carry x guns...
to 3's you can carry whatever... but the more you do the slower your powers recharge.

It was a weird illusion of choice with ME1 because the untrained weapon types were pretty much unusable. Without Assault Rifle training, using that gun was like being a Stormtrooper. Hell, you couldn't even use the scope if you were untrained in Sniper Rifle.

Been playing Mass Effect 3 for a bit... and I'm not sure why but I'm already not enjoying it as much as I did my replay of Mass Effect 1+2.
that said for the first time I decided not to punch Khalisah al-Jilani at all... and did the paragon choices on the interviews.
I kinda like in Mass Effect 3 she basically starts having a breakdown about everything happening and Shep puts a hand on her shoulder and calms her down you get a war asset from doing it.

I’ve never once punched out the reporter. Always felt it was better to get the better of her through my words.

Plus there's also the whole punching out a woman because you don't like the way she does her job thing.

I don't think I punched her the first time i played mass effect. I did punch her in two to see what the renegade trigger did as it was one of your first opportunities too.
After that I generally just played an asshole in my few minor playthroughs

To be fair, punching out an annoying reporter is one of the less dickish things you can do as a Renegade. >_>

She was a huge jerk to me in ME3 even though I was nice to her (I thought) in ME2.
So I let her know these hands are rated 'E' for everyone.

Yall talking about punching her out is the worst thing Shep does to her but get to 3 after doing it twice and Shep will just lay her out with a headbutt after she dodges your punch. And you'll see her slumped over body in that spot for the rest of your current visit to the citadel

found an old advertisement Bioware put out of stats... not surprisingly Kaiden has the lowest survivability by far as well as least used... What is kinda surprising is that Liara's rate is that LOW... as there is literally only one place in the trilogy she can die...

How is it that the percentage is so high for those who didn’t get to meet Wrex in Mass Effect 3? You can’t tell me 64% of players killed/didn’t recruit Wrex in Mass Effect 1?
Also, I always seem to be in the minority with what’s popular in a franchise. Liara and Garrus are some of the most popular characters in the franchise and yet both of them bore me. Especially Garrus. Maybe if the franchise didn’t focus on them so much.

Just a theory but if you didn't actually play ME1 and didn't buy either comic dlc so you could skip games Wrex is always dead so maybe that's why so many in ME3 didn't meet Wrex

Rough sales figures: Mass Effect 2million Mass Effect 2: 5 million Mass Effect 3: 7 million
Figures line up well with most people not meeting Wrex in ME3.
As I said before, one thing about the endings controversy: only 30% of the fanbase even met the Rachni Queen (for example) and people expected every decision to play into the endings.

Ditto with Mass Effect 2 until they added the DLC that let you make decisions when it launched on the Playstation.

When I first found out about Mass Effect, the trilogy had already been out and completed so I bought the set that had all three game included so I could start from the beginning. Guess I had just assumed that most people would do the same and not jump right into the third act of a narrative story. I was wrong.
