Guys, I'm not 100% sure, but I think I've received a new message at my private terminal.

Anyone else having a problem with the game crashing when a timer comes up during a mission? This happened to me on both ME1 and ME2 and I even lost about 30 minutes due to a save corruption.

{Spoiler} I killed Kaidan and didn’t feel bad about it for a second.
Except I now need to load a previous save to unlock his trophy.

"Shepard" "Yooooo, if y'all don't leave me the f*** alone" There should be a Mass Effect/Fallout crossover where the private message is a time-travelling Preston Garvey telling you there is a settlement needing your help.

Just finished ME1. I still love the game. A bit frustrated that certain bugs are still present (the game not recording whether you saved everyone in the paragon bonus mission still is thoroughly annoying) but thoroughly enjoyed myself.

It's such an easy game to get immersed in. My main gripe is that it's not a full or even partial remake, but that's a subject for another day.

Oh yeah it's not, but there's enough here that I'm happy. Whether or not I'm still happy when me2 and me3 are identical, that remains to be seen.

A bit frustrated that certain bugs are still present (the game not recording whether you saved everyone in the paragon bonus mission still is thoroughly annoying) but thoroughly enjoyed myself. That bug was partially fixed; not sure if it's still bugged in part 1, but in ME2 I got the news report that mentioned the Sirta Foundation had "few casualties" after the biotic attack, whereas the original report mentioned that the group was shutting down due to the base getting wiped out. What annoyed me was that Toombs still acts as though you have the Sole Survivor background if you Charm him, regardless of what your background is. Though I've since head canon'd it as Shepard playing along with Toombs, who mistook Shepard for someone in his squad due to the ridiculous trauma he's gone through. About halfway through ME2 and, minor bugs aside, I'm remembering why I fell in love with this series all those years ago. Though it's a struggle to remain faithful to Liara when Tali is right there.

I tell you, Samara makes me want to toss Liara out of an airlock. But I dont think you can romance her if I recall.

Though it's a struggle to remain faithful to Liara when Tali is right there. I hear ya. Every time I'm all "I'm gonna romance somebody different this time" and then along comes Tali. I tell you, Samara makes me want to toss Liara out of an airlock. But I dont think you can romance her if I recall. You can sort of romance her. {Spoiler}She turns you down - either straight up rejects you if you're renegade or confesses her attraction to you but commits to the Justicar code if you're paragon. If you persist she almost kisses you, but backs off. While we're on the subject, I recently learned that Samara's voice actress is Billie Eilish's mother. That's one of those random connections you never expect.

Ok, maybe it's fixed in me2. I'm judging it on a line I got in the elevator in ME1. Cant help you there as I played Sole Survivor. And Tali is my OTP so definitely cant help there .

Question about ME2's last mission: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}So I got through the suicide mission losing two people I didn't care about, Thane and Zaeed. Thane was dying anyway and Zaeed I forgot was even there most of the time.
But somehow Mordin died and I have no clue how. And when I get back to the ship, looks like most of the stuff I wanted to upgrade is no longer there. Does this mean that without Mordin I'm screwed?

But somehow Mobius died and I have no clue how. And when I get back to the ship, looks like most of the stuff I wanted to upgrade is no longer there. Does this mean that without Mobius I'm screwed? {Spoiler} So if you didnt take Mordin with you to destroy the reaper child he, and everyone else you leave, is left facing a collector assault. Each character has a numerical value attached to them. Your soldiers like grunt are 4, 3 if you didnt do their loyalty mission. Others are lower, like Mordin being a 1 or a 2 depending of loyalty.
The game works out the average score of those numbers and you take casualties based on that, with the order predetermined. The suicide mission is designed to be rough and touch only get total survival with high levels of loyalty and making the right choices about who to take with you. I lost Mordin the first time I played the game in the same way. You can't do research stuff in me2 anymore, but it only has narrative implications for me3, not gameplay.
