I loved Final Destination 3, its like those campy 80s horror movies but in the 2000s. It was the first one I saw of the series, since I worked at a movie theater when it came out. Still would rank it 3rd.
The one after this was "THE Final Destination" and it was the worst imo. I still haven't seen 5.

Just know that I'm cracking up while reading this induction because all I can think of is newLEGACYinc playing DDP in WWE Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth's story mode and at one point playing "Turn Around, Look At Me" because they run into Reverend D-Von YET AGAIN, only for Trish Stratus and RVD to also show up and Dino actually starts singing AS RVD, and then the viewers pick D-Von to force Jawnny to talk to him and Jawnny and Dino start singing D-Von's lines to the song's tune while Duel gets increasingly angry with them.

This is actually my favorite Final Destination film. I ended up getting the dvd that let you make decisions on things that happened in the movie.

The tanning bed scene is one of the most terrifying in film history.

The tanning bed scene is one of the most terrifying in film history. It is. The stupid thing is that I think it was supposed to be funny. Like... usually the deaths in these movies happen really quickly so there's no real suffering involved and you can kinda laugh in a slapsticky sort of way. But this one is really long and drawn out and focuses on how much they suffer before they die, kinda like a torture porn movie. Very scary but also feels really out of place given the series'usual tone, and I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not.

It's been soo long since I did that and has been a while since I watched the movie, definetly popping it in and choosing my fate in the movie.

Good read. Also in case I forget, congarts on 200 inductions. Yeah, it's been a long road and I'll be extremely lucky if I get to 300.

And I dont think that scene was meant to be funny. Almost always with these Final Destination films, the first death is always pro-longed and looks painful

I think the hydraulic hose would have still fallen apart and the wreck would still happen Yeah, that's the important bit and why Death is after the survivors; it's not so much preventing the accident, it's that those people were warned and weren't killed. If I recall, 3 is the only one where there's a direct influence with Frankie's camera, but yeah, Death could've put anything on the rail for that part.

Fun little story/aside about Final Destination 4:
When I worked at Blockbuster, Every week, Every Friday, no matter HOW good or bad a big new release was, we could ALWAYS count on it being almost or completely rented out all weekend. Even the Love Guru. Even Meet the Spartans. It didn't matter what it was. If it was new and it went to theaters and we had a lot of it, it was gone. And for the same reason, we would sell even used copies of the movie at full price for the first month or so after it came out. But we had one glaring exception. When The Final Destination came out, we got the usual 200 copies, expect and that like literally everything else it would rent out the first weekend or two, then we could start selling things off and shrink our inventory. Well the first weekend comes by, and we rent out of all our new releases. Except for The Final Destination. We never had more than 30 or 40 rented out at one time. That Monday my manager pulls like 80% of our inventory of the movie to be sold off for the used price of $14.99, which was about $10 cheaper than a brand new copy. It was the only time that happened, and to this day in not quite sure why that particular movie got such a negative reception.

I worked there only a few months before I quit. Turned out to be for the best as a few months later, I was diagnosed with MS so with the rigors of the job, I would have had to quit anyway.
