We all remember the likes of Ernie Anderson, Casey Kasem, and Danny Dark, as well as a plethora of local announcers I'm sure.
But...what happens when someone doing a TV voiceover isn't even trying? You get things like this guy trying to keep us around for Jetsons: The Movie.
What are your other examples?

I used to have a recording of “Doctor Who and the Daleks” that we made off channel 17 Philadelphia back in the 80’s. The voiceover guy on the commercial breaks keep calling them the “Day-lecks”

We have a BBC newsreader here called Simon McCoy, doesn't have a lot of patience for stories that aren't actually news.

He’s not an announcer like other examples here but I have to mention the BBC newsreader Simon McCoy. He’s never any less enthusiastic than when discussing the Royal Family..
Special mention to the time he couldn’t find his iPad to hold during his news bulletin, so he grabbed a ream of paper instead.
Simon McCoy. Newsreader. Journalist. Hero.
Edit: Didn’t see the post immediately above. Oh well, more Simon McCoy is never a bad thing.

Add another Brit to the Simon McCoy fan base. He covered a story about a windsurfing dog a year or so ago. His whole delivery, expression and body language screamed ‘I studied journalism for THIS?’!
Personally, I like his honesty. He doesn’t even pretend to give a toss.

To be fair that would be more than the optimal amount of enthusiasm one would give in regards to Jetsons: The Movie.

But even then I knew something was...off.)

This reminds me of the 1997 Simpsons episode where Kent Brockman is calling a soccer match and he is soooo bored out of his skull while the other announcer in the other booth can’t contain his excitement,

In the early days of a podcast I love Thirty twenty ten doing a "time capsule" of pop culture of pop culture the last 3 decades would delight in the early years of 86 and 87 of finding trailers with a quick announcemdnt of a guy going " october 27th at Cineplex" or whatever
