In between having long-blonde hair and going bald, Steve Austin had a buzzcut. Only had it for a few months, he had long hair at November to Remember '95 and was totally smooth at WM 12, so only 4 months tops. Interesting. I remember the buzzcut, but no the long hair since I didn't watch ECW. I didn't know Austin had long hair after his time in WCW. I only knew him with his short side part, then buzzcut as The Ringmaster and then bald as Stone Cold. |

Speaking of facial hair, this just did not work.  ETA: Now that I think about it, that facial hair looks painted on. Sting's black & white crow face paint works. As for the red face paint, I don't think so. You don't think so?  |

Jarrett had an in-between phase during his feud with X-Pac before getting it all chopped off at the PPV: The odd thing about this is that when he had the country singer gimmick, it was better when he was clean-cut and had his hair long and stylized. Since he grew the facial hair and had his hair done differently, it just did not look right with those tights that he wore. Once he cut his hair, the look suited him much better, along with the change in ring attire. |

There was also that time when Chris Jericho wrestled with his hair tied back and dyed red at the end.
